Contest | Daily Menu Delicacies Week No. 60 | Simple menu in the month of Ramadan
Hi Steemians!!! How are you my friends wherever you are? With me @dederanggayoni who is present in the community we love, Steem Iron Chef, where Chefs gather to share delicious menus. On this occasion I want to join the contest held at Steemit Iron Chef with the theme Daily Menu Delicacies Week No. 60
One of my hobbies is cooking, I have tried many recipes, I always keep myself busy cooking the food that I and my family want. My husband and children love to eat my cooking. I often cook my family's food with love recipes 😅😂🤣 usually I cook my husband's and children's favorite food.
When the month of Ramadan arrives, I prefer simple and simple food. Usually I cook in the afternoon before breaking the fast and at dawn before the morning prayer. Indeed, when fasting I can't eat too much. However, when fasting I choose nutritious food that meets the body's needs.
Before breaking the fast, I prepared my favorite snack, onde-onde cake made from rice flour filled with brown sugar and sprinkled with grated coconut. When bitten, this onde-onde cake feels soft and chewy and sweet. Everyone definitely loves this cake. My mother also really likes it because the texture is very soft so that even her missing teeth can still chew it.
Then the next menu is delicious baked macaroni. This time our dinner menu is my son's favorite menu which he ordered me to cook a few days ago. But I just cooked it today. The method is also very simple and I have made it several times. This macaroni menu is also very much liked by my mother because it is easy to chew with her teeth which are already missing a lot😁
After finishing eating, I don't forget to drink a glass of warm water. The food we eat every day must contain balanced nutrition for our health. In choosingjn food, we should pay attention to the nutritional value that is important for our body's growth. Food should not only taste good in the mouth but also have to have enough carbohydrates, protein, fat, minerals and vitamins needed by the body.
Approaching dawn, I prepare my and my family's sahur food with rice. I make fried rice with a mixture of stir-fried eggs and garlic with a little pepper and spring onions. Then I add my fried rice with a little soy sauce and crispy fried shrimp.
Next, I cook fresh boiled mustard greens. Fresh green mustard greens are very good for the body because they contain a lot of good fiber. In these vegetables, I add chopped tomatoes and onions to make them more savory when eaten together.
