Dear steemit,

Hello steemit, how are you again?. It's been two weeks i last wrote to you. This is due to my hectic 300lvl second semester exam. It was a tough exam, probabaly the toughest exam i have done so far in my three years in the university. It is all over now and you have become my priority.

It is been over a month that I first met you, my bestfriend. Now my obsession for you is like love, stronger than a family love, relationship love and friendship love. Since love makes the world go round, without your love I wouldn't want to exist in this cruel world. If I am going to write a book, your love is going to get a whole chapter on its own. I will talk about the importance of your friendship and how it is helping my life and my long quest for peace. ![Screenshot_20210530-082233.png]()

You are not like a childhood friend, classmate or a casual friend anyone can have around. I am talking about a friend that became a family. A friend that helps in building your dream and pick you up back again and again wherever you end up in life.

Today i am blessed with the friendship of yours. Even though i am not the most sociable person due to my shyness, I found you incredibly reliable. You have brought me love, passion and a deep sense of fulfillment since I met you.

I met you my bestfriend, April 2021. Your name is Steemit and it is not the most convincing of names. You got my attention when I was told you pay monetarily and intellectually. Even though i didn't know much at the beginning, i still blossomed into a very pure friendship that would probably light up my days for years to come. You have somehow became my right hand friend and I don't know what i would do without you in my life.

Many people around me wonder why it is always you and I am trying to introduce you to them and tell them about your greatness, not only to me but to everyone you have been good friends to. You suit both my style and personality. The beauty of your love and friendship is that you don't discriminate age and background.

Since I met you, I have told you here about my heartbreaks, disappointments and particularly my failure 3 years ago. Not once did you not listen to me or leave my side. Your loyalty and support has taught me a lot about friendship.

Unlike the friends I have in the past, with you I have more fun, peaceful and happy times. My relationship has grown in many aspect too. I am starting to take writing classes to further improve my relationship with you. Perhaps it is because of the deep love and respect I have for you. It would only make working together easy and meaningful too.

My love for you is becoming romantic. It may sound funny but with steemit, I always feel that it's not just friendship but also a deep love that makes the friendship romantic in it's own way. This is not the same love as boy-girl love but it is not different than the deep bond or solid love you may have with your spouse or your family.

Since I met you, I have never felt lonely, bored or sad again, because I already have a friendship that fulfilled me. To everyone who feels bored or lonely, I can only tell you one thing, get a friend like steemit and feel fulfilled as much as possible. Having a friend like a steemit makes me confident, happy and never insecure or afraid to lose. It attracts much healthier relationships.

And to steemit, i can say "Thank You" for being such a gift in my life so far, for making my life better and brighter in so many ways, everyday. Cheers to many years of growing and exploring life together.

I almost forgot i wrote you a poem. It is not the best of poems but i'd hope you like it. It took some efforts. Enjoy.

Around you is a place to be;
Cos with friends like me who needs therapy?
I always wondered where I could really find peace;
And I was left in your presence feeling at ease.
Drops of tears I had to shed in a while;
Was wiped off the second I beheld your smile.
A sadness within made me always want a cuddle;
But I felt cuddled every second since I met you.
Life always seemed like an endless puzzle;
But my zeal was restored at the sight of you.
No matter what sadness i seem to feel;
You'll be here to help me heal.
With whatever solution in the world there is,
You'll be sure to set my soul at ease.
