HOW I COOKED MY OGBONO SOUP WITH COW MEAT
Hello everyone,I hope you're having a wonderful day. Everyone has their own way of cooking this Nigerian dish:OGBONO SOUP. I'm here to tell you how I cooked mine,I hope you try it out.
INGREDIENTS
1.meat
2.stockfish
3.mangala/singi
4.pepper
5.bitter leaf
6.palm oil
7.ogbono
8.crayfish
9.salt
10.seasoning cube
PROCEDURE
First I washed my meat with salt,then put it in a pot with onions,salt and seasoning cube and parboiled it
When it had parboiled well,I added more water,then began adding my ingredients. I added crayfish, pepper,palmoil and let it cook for about 5minutes.
After 5 minutes I added my mangala and stockfish,let it boil for another 5 minutes then added my well blended ogbono. I stirred it so it won't burn. When it was well cooked,I added the bitter leaf but didn't let it cook for long. Then I brought it down and the food was ready.
You can eat this soup with garri,akpu/fufu,wheat,pounded yam,boiled yam,semovita and the rest. I hope you try it, thank you.
