My root || A family discovery contest|| Meet the Ogoke's
My name is Ogoke Nkechinyere Becky. I'm from Imo State, Nigeria. I'm the second born of my family and I'll love you to meet my family members.
My nuclear family is made up of my dad, mum, three beautiful girls and a very stubborn boy who happen to be the third.
Meet the Ogoke's
Dad
Some of which includes setting up a building for business purposes.
He's so strict and disciplined and guided us in the good ways we are emulating. So far I'm his favorite.
Mum
This beautiful woman right here is my mum and friend. Her name is Mrs Ijeoma Ogoke, a mother of four. She lives with her family in Nyanya, Abuja, Nigeria.
She is a public servant, a mother, wife, sister and friend to the family. She has a forgiving heart though she shouts slot when we do bad things.
One time I mistakenly poured hot water on my brother's hand, I thought she was going to shout but she didn't.
She forgave me although she wasn't happy with what I did. She had to take my brother to the hospital that night.
We always go to market together whenever we have the chance and I get a chance to buy whatever I want.
My elder sister
Deep down she has a good heart, you just need to be close to her to unlock that feature. She's strong and can be a wonderful sister.
She's an introvert at first impression but with time, when she becomes comfortable with you she showcases her extrovert feature.
My younger brother
He's a science student aspiring to study medicine. Though I would love him to study architecture because he can draw.
He and my elder sister are the artists we have in the house. Their handwriting is also beautiful and looks like computer generated cursive.
Despite his stubbornness we still care for him and endure everything he does. It's teenagers stage and we all understand though we didn't behave like him when we were teenagers.
Last born
She's everyone's favorite because of her position in the family. She's my personal favorite too. Her name is Miss Chinonso Ogoke.
If I have something I share with her and vice versa. She's the only one I call to help me in the house.
As expected she has a very sharp mouth, can be stubborn and annoying. Regardless she is a good girl.
She has a permanent chore in the house that is to wash plates. Other chores she might engage in is temporary.
She's in Senior secondary school 2 about entering SSS3 by September. By next year she'll be done and ready to enter the university.

@beckie96830. Powerful family story. You have a very lovely family. We are impressed with the educational status of your family. Your parents are making sure you all have quality education like them. You also live in the Nigeria capital city. Can you tell us what life in Nyanya looks like or what you enjoy most about your city. Thank you for participating in this contest. Remember to drop the link to this post in our original contest post. Extend our greetings to your lovely family.
Thank you so much for your kind words.
I live in Nyanya, Abuja, Nigeria with my family. It happens to be northern part of the country and doubles as the capital of Nigeria.
Nyanya is a small peaceful and quiet place to be in. I've been here for the past 10 years and I don't know the names of our neighbors.
My street most especially can be so quiet regardless of the fact that we have a bread company, sachet water company, a private hospital, three schools, four churches and many residential buildings in the street.
It's a cool place to be in and our church is 15-20 minutes walk away from home. We also have a market called Nyanya market.
On Wednesdays, there is Nyanya market day where people from neighboring markets come there to trade.
