Have you tried any Turkish food? Which Turkish food is available at your local places? |

Yes I have tried making and eaten a particular Turkish food named shawarma. I made it at home and it came out just so yummy. Ever since I started making my own shawarma, I rarely go out to buy.
There are several Turkish food available at my local area such as Turkish pizza which they call Pide, I have also tasted the Lahmacun in a Turkish restaurant. It actually tasted so nice. It's a little similar to what we have already.

So after mixing well, I didn't have a chopper at home so I improvised by using my local mortar and pound them all together to mix well.
In my bowl I added my beef mixture and added my fresh parsley and mixed well.

With the help my greased hands, I take a small quantity of the mixture and make a smooth ball and I pressed it to make a flat patty.

Is your local cousin has any food that resembles with the shared recipe? |
---|
There is none of my local cuisine that is exactly like this but we have our White rice and stew that seem like this. The difference is that our tomatoes is well chopped or sliced into little pieces unlike this one where the tomatoes are bigger.
Also our chillies for our stew is also sliced or chopped into Smaller bits. Another difference is that we do not minced our meat. Our meat is either boiled or fried without all those many process involved in this Turkish cuisine.
Which flavour or spice do you like from Turkish cuisine ? |

First I like the lemon juice. The lemon juice gave it an extra touch. taste is cool.
I love the cumin powder for it's aroma in the dish. It's so lovely.
These are the two ingredients I find fascinating in this Turkish cuisine.
