Hello everyone, on this occasion I will participate in a contest held by @bossj23 about Contest Alert: Is Poverty Man-made or Life Happens? Here is my previous entry I would like to invite friends to participate in this contest
Are Poverty and Not Having Money the Same?
Sometimes when we talk about poverty, we do use it in reference to lack of money although they are not the same concept. Not being monetarily rich is fleeting, poverty is complex and systemic in nature. Today a person may not have any money, but the skills/education/opportunities can be there in store for them to earn from a future that already exists. On the other hand, poverty is a state where a person does not have not just money but also education from which he needs to escape to be able get rid or earn.
Causes for Poverty: Human or Situational?
Poverty is a problem of case and circumstances as well, with human elements behind it. We are the ones who make economic system, polities and behaviors which contribute to increasing or lessening poverty in life. Nonetheless, it is affected by significant life circumstances too namely natural disasters, wars or worldwide economic crises which bring people down in poverty.
The two biggest causes of poverty in my country are educational disparity and innumerous job opportunities around.
A lot of people are not able to get some education hence they work and do not even have the skills for a job with decent wages. Moreover, lack of job opportunities compels a major number of people into the informal sector with erratic incomes.
One of the Causes Of Poverty as Experienced in Life
There was this guy I met who worked hard and still he was poor because he was not educated with a good one. He had to work at an early age because his family needed him and he had no chance with better skills. So therefore he was stuck in low paid manual labour. This illustrate that poverty is a symptom not only of personal choices but also of systems and conditions that destroy social mobility.
Honesty and Poverty
A person who refuses to cheat in order to gain a large profit is not the reason he remains poor. Instead, such actions demonstrate strong moral principles. Not everyone who refuses to cheat is satisfied with their poverty. They may choose the harder path, but they still maintain their integrity. In the long run, honesty and hard work can bring better results than wealth gained through unethical means.

Have no money and be poor are two things. A person who does not have money today can earn it tomorrow. But the poverty is different; people struggle to live, and it spreads to a long-term generation.
