What does being responsible mean to you?

Being responsible can be seen as the ability of someone being accountable for his or her actions, and decisions. It also involves one being in charge of their life.

What are some ways you can be more responsible in your daily life?

• Setting Realistic goals
  Setting clear goals will help me avoid life happening to me, it will help me shuns procrastination and also follow my target judiciously.

• Prudent
  Being prudent will help me to manage and save my finances efficiently and save for the rainy day.

• Honesty
  Being trustworthy, and avoid cutting corners will show that I'm responsible.

• Accepting corrections
  Owning up to my errors and mistakes and handling corrections maturely makes me a responsible person.

• Continuous improvement
  By being open to learning, personal growth and development, and avoid behaving like Mr-knows-it-all.

• Hardworking
  By being hardworking and understanding that in life you must work hard to enjoy.

What happens when someone isn't responsible?

• Financial issues
  One of the consequences of irresponsibility is that it leaves you in financial crisis and debts.

• Reduced self respect
  Irresponsibility can make people to see you as coward, fool and a failure and all this can cause disrespect even from surbordinate.

• Missed opportunity
  It will make people to lack trust in you, and this will make them to not to entrust business, investment and contract with you.

• Over dependency
  An irresponsible person is lazy, and this will make him to depend on people for literally every thing they need.

• Low self esteem*
  Due to constant failure and disappointment, an irresponsible person will start seeing themselves as less human.

What are some good things that come from being responsible?

Some of the benefits of being responsible includes the following.

• Improves trust
  Ability to take responsibility for your actions will make people to trust and respect you.

• Improved self esteem
  It gives you the ability to take charge of your life, and also makes decisions for yourself and this helps to boost confidence and self esteem.

• Good decision making
  Constant learning and improvement on one's self will help you to make better decisions.

• Financial freedom
  Being prudent with your finances helps you to secure your future and gives you financial security.
