How I Dared the Impossible.
Hello friends, happy Monday morning from me to you, I believe you all are doing well, as for me I am fine. I will be joining this contest because I find it very interesting to participate.
Have you had experiences of things that looked impossible until you faced them?
Yes I have and one of the most difficult experiences was getting a stand at Christmas village in my down and sell foods and drinks. Even since my State government come up with Christmas village, I have never thought of selling in Christmas village before because of the stress involved, I don't like stress at all but last year December I was able to get a kiosk and sell, though it wasn't possible like that but I over come it. Firstly getting the kiosk was one of the difficult tasks, it was purchased online, then I picked interest in selling here on Sunday meanwhile the site for picking of kiosk was open on Friday and a lot of us that needed the kiosk had already done that since Friday and me coming on Sunday was like a childs play. But I didn't give up, so I went to the field on Monday morning by 6am, I meet with the officials and the ask me to wait that some people that had already picked the kiosk had not make payment and by 12noon they will list the kiosk out to people that are ready to make payments and by that 12noon I was lucky to find one and I make immediate payment though it was at the back and I still make my sells
What gave you the courage to face those seemingly impossible situations
Who gave me the courage, well I will say my kids gave me the courage, because a lot of bills were piled up for me, I needed to do two of my kids admission, pay the secondary school own fess and also pay my house rent, so when I look at the money in my hand and I see it won't take care of the bills at hand I decided to invest in the Christmas village business, and one thing was that all this bills, if I don't settle it, no body will do it for me so I have to be strong and I encourage myself. When I sat down and have a rethink I told myself if others can do it if so I can do it also. And secondly my kids really encourage me the more, they didn't allow me to pay for more helping hands, I only pay two people to assist me in the business and all my children were rightly involved in one way or the other.
How did you handle advice from friends and family who wanted to make you do otherwise.
Omo in life do what ever is in your mind, so far you are good with those things and it will bring positive impacts in your life, is not advisable to listen to friends because some of them will pretend to love you and they want the best for you not knowing right inside them they are not, so alot of my friends try to discourage me but when I look at myself and then there were a lot of differences because they are leaving with their husband and is their husband that is handling the bills of the family but in my own case I was the one doing father and mother stuff so I didn't listen to their advice, I did what was in my mind by facing my business.
