Hi friends,

I am very grateful to the #Steem4Nigeria community for bringing the great contest which gave me a stage to announce my desire and needs for my country.
If I am interested to become the next president of my country, my manifesto will be to shoot out three major issues they are food, education, and medicine. For that, I am going to make two important manifestos here.

Manifesto 1:

Free education and Free medicine

Our country has the highest tax collection, such as Income tax, Sale tax, Road tax, Toll tax, Property tax, Professional tax, Entertainment tax,Registration fees, Stamp duty, Export tax, transfer tax, and especially GST or the Goods and Services Tax which is taxed at around 5% to 28% which I consider a huge burden for poor people.

Tax collection, which is usually done by the government, can bring many benefits to the country, We have the largest population in the country, both from the extinguishing materials they use, and through the use and services and this is why The government gets too much tax, but still, there are no quality roads, medical and education are very costly. A lot of people died without quality medical facilities during the covid19 pandemic.

So, According to the proverb

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime

If come to power I will make it available for free throughout education and medicine. so that people get knowledge and earn their own money through the free education and they could live comfortably and pay tax easily.

Manifesto 2:

Use of wastelands

India is a very large country, India is predominantly agricultural because the climate and water sources here are conducive to agriculture. Most of the plains and lands here, in particular, are conducive to agriculture. India currently meets 10% of the world's food demand and is amongst the top 10 wheat exporters in the world.
But most of the land is vacant without being cultivated, this is because large corporations have bought and set aside arable land for their future needs. If we cultivate those vacant lands we will be able to meet almost 50 percent of the world's food needs.

Highlighting the contribution India has made towards global food security, New Delhi on 22nd April 2022 said that it is a basic minimum requirement, especially when the world is beset by the universal impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and ongoing conflicts. Indicating the contributions,
Dubey said that India has chosen to provide 50,000 metric tons of wheat to Afghanistan due to the growing humanitarian crisis. It is worth noting that recently, Pakistan said that India has been given a two-month extension to transfer 50,000 metric tons (MTs) of wheat and life-saving medications to Afghanistan through the Attari-Wagah integrated checkpoint. The time restriction for transferring humanitarian supplies ended on March 21, 2022, according to a statement provided by Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and New Delhi has asked for a time extension to complete the aid shipment.

Further, India has also continued to provide humanitarian assistance to Myanmar, including a donation of 10,000 tons of rice and wheat

Maybe if I come to power I will legislate that the landowners must strictly cultivate their lands, and place orders to plant many fruit trees in their wastelands so that the food shortage will reduce and the poor are affordable to consume healthy foods, and obviously this will improve development in many businesses such as transporters, fruit vendor, food processors exporters, etc. and provide employment to a lot of people, at the same time, it will reduce the hunger ratio all over the world.

Conclusion

Through these two manifestoes, I hope that our countrymen will receive free education, medicine, and food at affordable prices. And I hope the second manifesto will fulfill the world's food needs will be met and the starving poor will benefit.
