Falling into your smile

Tara got up and wanted to go but Jason stopped her.

"Where do you think you're going to?" He Asked
"Nowhere that will concern you Jason" Tara responded

"Back to him, Someone that publicly disgraced you right, Well for your information, he travelled abroad with Laura to build up the branch of their business there, gonna take a year before they'll be back" Jason said all in one breath

Tara was dumbstruck, how could Frank just do all this without even an explanation like how could it even be possible.

She tried calling him but, he wasn't picking, when she called the third time someone answered.

"Hello Tara" the voice said

"Laura, what are you doing with Franks phone, give him the phone" Tara said

"Oh please, we just had a long night and he's still comfortably asleep like a baby, done disturb him will you please" Laura said and hung up the call....

Tara fell back to the chair and began the stream of tears again.

How could he do this to me, is this how it all ends, without even an explanation

2 year later

"Mummy Mummy! I'm home from school!!!" The voice of a little boy was heard.

Well yes your guess is as good as mine, Tara was pregnant with Franks son, and gave birth during his absence, she named him Lucas.

"Come here my baby boy, how was school today?" Tara asked her boy hugging him and patting him on his head.

"It was fine.... But mom where is my father, all my classmates daddies came to pick them up, is uncle Jason my father?" The boy blurted out

"Well, Jason is not your father, but don't worry, you'll find out when your old enough ok?" Tara told him

The boy nodded and went for his meal Tara saved Enough to open a coffee shop which she ran with Jason.

He has tried every approach but still, Tara refused to get together with him.

While going home from work one day, Tara saw a car drive up to her, and to her greatest amazement, Frank walked out and walked up to her.

Tara was having mixed feelings, she didn't even know how to feel, he walked up to her and wanted to talk.

Tara gave him a thunderous slap......
