Is Poverty and not having money the same thing? Explain.

To me I think poverty and not having money are related but not exactly the same let me explain, Poverty means not having enough resources to meet basic needs like food, shelter, and healthcare and it includes the lack of access to education, clean water, and opportunities for work. So not having money can be a part of poverty, but a person might be temporarily low on cash yet still have support, skills, or a job. Poverty often lasts longer and affects many aspects of life, while not having money can be a short-term situation. In essence, poverty is a broader, deeper issue than just lacking money.

Do you think poverty is Man-made or situations in life make it happen? Mention 2 main causes of poverty in your country.

Poverty is often seen as both man-made and also a result of life situations and policies, economic systems, and inequalities can also create poverty, while unexpected events like job loss or even health issues can push people into it. In my country Nigeria 2 main causes of poverty are unemployment and Weak Governance.

So I believe that by addressing these causes through better job opportunities and good governance we can help break the cycle and create a brighter future for everyone.

Give a life experience to justify that poverty is either man-made or situations in life cause it.

Here is a life experience story of one lady called Maria she is a single mother living in a small town in Nigeria and after losing her job at a local factory due to economic downturns, she struggled to find new work but the lack of available jobs in her area, coupled with low wages when she finally found one, made it difficult to provide for her children.

To be honest her situation worsened when her youngest child fell ill, leading to medical bills she couldn't even afford and despite her determination to improve their lives, the combination of systemic issues like unemployment and limited healthcare access trapped her family in poverty... so this experience highlights how man-made factors, such as economic policies and job availability, alongside with individual life situations, can just create a cycle of poverty that is hard to escape.

Someone refuses to scam people to make a fortune and elevate himself from poverty. Will you say the person is the reason he's still poor or will you say he's being content with the poverty? Justify your answer.

To me I would say that the person is not the reason they are still poor, and they're not being content with poverty either and here is my reason

First Integrity over exploitation: By refusing to scam people, the person is showing the integrity and a strong moral compass so they're prioritizing doing what's right over making a quick fortune.

And again poverty is not a personal failing that's what everyone needs to understand, poverty is often a result of systemic issues, such as lack of access to education, job opportunities, or resources. It's not necessarily a personal failing.

Lastly, honesty is a valuable trait, when the person's refuse to scam others demonstrates their commitment to honesty and fairness and these traits are essential for building trust and strong relationships.

So to summarize this, that person who refuse to scam others is a testament to their character and integrity so it's not the reason they're still poor I hope you guys are understanding my point, but rather a reflection of their commitment to doing what's right, even in the face of adversity.
