Crypto diversification in a portfolio
Hello everyone,
It's your favorite Steemian @rakiya from Nigeria and I'm delighted to join in this contest organized by @khursheedanwar in this noble community today. It's a wonderful contest and I love to share my participation in it.
As a newbie cryptocurrency, I have always sorted ways to maximize my portfolio growing it to a high that after seeing it I will always appreciate my effort. One of the major ways in which I used to do this aside from growing my Steem power is the diversification of my assets in my exchange wallet.
Now before I go ahead I would like to explain briefly what diversification is all about. From the word diversified, you will agree with me that it is all about not gathering all our eggs in one basket which means not focusing on holding just one cryptocurrency.
When you diversify it means you have some Cryptocurrency to which you have allocated some percentage of your capital. A good example is if you have $100 in your wallet, you may decide to use $10 to buy Steem, $10 for TRX $50 for Hive, and $30 for Ton. With these, you have successfully diversified your assets.
In my case, I have also diversified my assets here I invested in Steem and Ton. From the above image, most of my capital is invested in the Steem token and this is because I earn Steem majorly from the Steemit platform and also because from my research it has much potential compared to many other cryptocurrencies.
In the case of my investment in Ton, since I'm currently running a lot of mining on Telegram, most of the time they always need the Ton as a gas fee so I believe that the coin also has much potential and will go a long way very soon.
I intend to buy more of the asset when I have much better money because the asset has a lot of potential for growth since it is used almost on every telegram mining project at the moment. So that is the main reason I have invested and diversified my assets on these two cryptocurrencies.
