Steem is taking off like a rocket ship
Look at that baby go. 2 straight days of gains. The even stranger part is that SBD is also on the rise. Not sure of why it took aff as Bitcoin has not really moved much in the last week even though it has been going up slightly day to day but nothing to trigger steem to take off as is has.
I am hopefull that we can get back above the $1.00 steem range. It is going to be quite a challenge now that all the payouts are in liquid steem instead of SBD as that is going to make trading a lot more volitile with all that extra steem moving through the eco system. I do believe SBD is going to keep gaining value and steem will actually loose value at least till hard fork 20 comes and allows SBD to be handed out again. We should see some crazy market fluctuations on that week.

All very valid points. I still to this day almost have a heart attack every time I trade bitcoin with its min half hour transfers. Steem has spoiled me. How the steem blockchain does not get more love is beyond me.
Steem seems to keep a somewhat consistent volaility trend. If it goes down it comes back up but the average tends to stay consistent. I mean you can see the flatness of those plots straight away.
That's just the see-saw bottom pattern, the longer it stays this way, the bigger the step jump will be when it really moves to a higher level.

STEEM will have to go down to USD 0.50 before steadily rising again.
What a great opportunity it will be if this happens, I'll surely trade some BTC for Steem, lets hope very soon, HF20 is releasing in Sep 25, after that lots of Steem will start to get burned with new account creation, so if it takes 1 Million Steem to create 1 Million Accounts, that's 1 Million Steem burned forever, less supply more value.

Actually Steem's liquidity is rapidly increasing. With 50% of powerdown now all liquid Steem and zero SBD being printed, expect a greater amount of Steem liquidity than ever before.
Means ppl are giving up steem
Greater liquidity is also needed as more new people adopt Steem.
We need the big holders to sell, it's actually a small minority that's selling the most. Once they are done selling, then ownership become more decentralized. This is very-very good for any crypto, brings in stability AND greater adoptions, both together becomes a 1-2 punch to leg up to next level, just like BTC jump from:
$0.005 to $0.10
then
$0.10 to $1.00
then
$1.00 to $30.00
then
$30.00 to $200.00
