Usman Khawaja : What a Comeback..| 5% for SL Charity

As you may have seen, Travis Head was having a hell of a time in the latest edition of Ashes. He had scored 248 runs in 4 innings with the highest score of 152. But he got injured in the 3rd test match. So his place had to be replaced. That's how Usman Khawaja got the chance to play for Australia.. again..
Actually, Usman Khawaja's story is somewhat the same as what happened to Travis Head. He was kicked out of the squad during the 2019 Ashes series due to an injury. Since Marnus Labuschagne was in great form and he was young, so Khawaja's place went to Labuschagne.
So now, Khawaja got an opportunity to prove Australian Cricket Board that he's still good to play for Australia. And that's what exactly he did. When Khawaja came to crease in the first innings, two quick wickets had been fallen. So he had to make a responsible inning.

First, he made a good partnership with Steve Smith and built the foundation for a 400+ score. Then he batted really well with Tail-enders and Khawaja ended up scoring 137 runs. That's a great comeback innings by Khawaja.

Usman Khawaja is actually a Pakistani. His family is from Pakistan. When they got to know that, they came to Australia to support him. Also Khawaja a father now. I think this century was a great gift for his family who support this comeback..
