Adyar Ananda Bhavan
An outlet of Adyar Ananda Bhavan has been opened in Marine Drive recently. It is a famous shop for sweets in India, and we immediately wanted to try the place when we heard the news.
We got our love for South Indian food from my mum because she literally grew up eating those. Therefore, it became a must to join mum for the date making it a family date.
The place was very crowded since it was weekend and it looked like we were not the only people who were excited about its opening. We ordered our mains but what we were really excited about was the dessert as sweets is their speciality. We had some as desserts and some as snacks for home, and I finally experienced why their sweets were so famous. They were actually soo good!

Since it was the time of the sunset, we didn't forget to have a walk in the marine drive to end our date in a relaxing manner. I missed the days we stayed at wellawatta because we could frequently go for walks in marine drive those days. Overall, the day went pretty well!

I too used to visit ananda Bhavan in Borella, specially for Masala those.
Ananda Bhavan is a place that I frequent too. But this is a different place.
