The Subject I hated back in High school @arshani

Hi my friends 😊,

I hope all of you are actively spending the day. I am now writing the article I prepared for the contest announced by @lhorgic. So without further ado I will now present it to you from my experience.

For my higher education, I chose Chemistry and Physics, including the subject of Combined Mathematics. My brother is the main reason I chose these subjects. It was seeing his commitment to becoming an engineer that led me to choose these subjects.

It usually takes about two years and seven months to study the three subjects and sit for the exam, which is the usual way in Sri Lanka. But even though I chose these subjects, I could not learn the lessons there as easily as I thought. The reason is after the GCE Ordinary Level Examination I never thought I would have to learn complex lessons so quickly.

However, my favorite of these 3 subjects is Combined Mathematics. Chemistry is my next favorite subject. But reluctantly, physics is not one of my favorite subject. At that time I had many reasons for it.

No matter how much I listened intently while the physics teachers were teaching, I could not understand some of the facts. I think the reason is that I was not interested in learning it. There were many occasions when my school physics teacher even complained to me when I got low marks in term tests. So I got bored of the physics subject little by little.

But the lessons I liked were in the physics curriculum. I love mathematics related problems in physics. But I do not want to study theory all the time. That's why I often missed the subject of physics.

But something is clear to me now. That is, if I had mastered one physics lesson, I would never have missed the physics subject. The subject of Integrated Mathematics and Chemistry, I had mastered one such lesson and was able to hold on to those subjects without giving up in any difficult situation. But most of the time I missed the subject of physics.

I am very happy to be able to recall my life experiences through this contest. All my high school memories were awakened when I wrote this article. So I invite my sisters @hasini, @inudi & @hansihmd to add your experience to this contest.

Thank you for giving a time!🎀✨️
