Filipino Boxer wins Silver Olympic Medal at Tokyo 2020 Olympics

Carlo Paalam, a Filipino Boxer from Bukidnon, ended his Tokyo 2020 Olympics career as a Silver Medalist. He took his place as a Fourth Olympic Medalist of the Philippines at the Tokyo 2020 after failing to defeat the british boxer, Galal Yafai. Even though he was not able to achieve the gold, being a medalist alone proved that his skills and determination is a force to be reckoned with. His win allowed the Philippines to have the most decorated run at any Olympic season. Before his boxing career, he worked as a scavenger to make ends meet. Seeing him on a pedestal after winning a medal proved that enabling to activate your drive to achieve your goals and dreams are enough to make them come true. Congratulations Carlo!
