Christmas Lights
Orchard Road – that’s where people head for, to see the year-end festive lights. The yearly light-up ties in with the festive holiday season to draw visitors to the famed shopping belt. This year there will be a street party too on Christmas Eve.
Along with the light-up, there are mini fairs, music bands and performances, Christmas carols, ice-cream sellers and food trucks.
With colouful LED lights of cotton candy floating in the air, Orchard road sports a dreamy look and feel. That is this year’s theme – “to capture a child’s imagination as one wanders through a cotton candy cloud dreamscape replete with Christmas trees and bells, as well as teddy bears, reindeer, and candy canes.” - Source
