secret can kill, but how?

When I asked people about keeping secrets, they shared bitter experience on how someone they trusted leaked their secret. They were their family members, close friends or relatives. Then I asked why people leaked secrets. Is it not betrayal?

Come to think of it, it depends on how deep the secrets are. Assuming it is something that may affect someone's life.......... I think it is not bad to take actions. Let’s talk about how secrets can kill? Wouldn't you like to know? I ask a close friend of mine: can secrets kill? He answered, "If taken excessively". .

A secret can kill when the context of it is emotional, thereby leading to a fatal result, for instance, a point where someone falls sick or someone takes his life. Secondly, secrets can kill in a way that the constant nervousness and stress caused by secrecy sometimes lead to depression, and at this point someone can feel insignificant or worthless.

Imagine a situation where someone is diagnosed with contaminated diseases, and he decides to keep it secret because he thought that if he tells others, they might abandon or shun him. At last, because he did not treat it, it ended his life. What kills him, is it fear or secret?

Let try a different scenario where secret can kill. I talked earlier about betrayal between two friends. You know the worst part of it? When a secret is eventually revealed, it has dreadful consequences of shattering trust and leading to relationship breakdowns. When I made an inquiry about the question, I was told a story and life experiences about someone employing a secret to manipulate or get something in return from someone.

In general, secret can kill in different ways from betrayal to fear of losing someone, being abandoned or shun. What is your opinion on this @ @weisser-rabe @naina9?

One bad thing about keeping secret is that once your enemy finds out about it, you automatically become a victim of blackmail. You start doing all sorts of things because you’re trying to take such secret to the grave.

But like the popular saying goes “there’s nothing hidden under the sun, that won’t be revealed sooner or later “.

Exactly so what do you think. Keeping it to yourself? To avoid betrayal

I doubt it. There's plenty hidden that won't be revealed or after hundreds of years and by that time no one gives a damn and what to think of all those sheep finding it easier not to believe the truth?

I really like your point that keeping a secret leads to depression.
Depression even when a secret is revealed, depression even when a secret is kept, then both such situations prove to be fatal for a person.
So the result is that what is written in destiny will happen. It is in man's own power to be afraid of the situation, or to resist it.

if both leads to depression the wisest thing is to shut up. Since at least you have a friend left or someone close who won't feel the need to break you. Wat do you think?

You said exactly right. We should keep our mouth shut. Today is the era of selfishness. Everyone is self-interested.
All fulfill their meaning like "taking the fly out of the milk and throwing it out" and no one even notices.
And surely many people are killed in ignorance.

Tell you one thing (well, 2, actually): 1) The first people to break the rule of keeping secrets are those who have secrets that need to be kept, but reveal them to others. 2) You need something to remain a secret, easy: keep your mouth shut.

Hahahaha...... Is that a command 😂

Haha.

if it's a command, it is a sign you are not the right person to share a secret with. One is better off with an super introvert.
