STEEM ATLAS : Curation Report : 8 Feb - 14 Feb '25

Steem Atlas has continued to flourish with good growth in users and posts.

Having the use of the SC03 Community Curation account is a major help in encouraging use of Steem Atlas.

It is particularly useful to be able to give authors a worthwhile reward as there is a continual uptrend in the quality of posts being added to Steem Atlas.

This past week also saw the launch of our beneficiary scheme as a first step in developing a sustainable business model for the project.

Hightlights of the Week

• Daily posts now averaging almost 35 per day.

• 84 different authors have posted to the site in the past week.

• Posts have been added to 30 different countries.

• Our 'Atlas Assist' beneficiary scheme has been launched.

• Development has continued on core system optimisation and backend administration.

Atlas Ambassadors

Thank you to all nineteen people who applied to become Atlas Ambassadors.

There have been many high quality applications so the selection process has been difficult.

We will be recruiting Ambassadors on an ongoing basis as Steem Atlas grows.

The first three or four Ambassadors will be announced later this week...

Atlas Assist : Beneficiaries

As Steem Atlas grows we are beginning to look at developing a sustainable business model for the project.

One part of that will be beneficiaries.

We are inviting anyone who would like to support Steem Atlas to set a beneficiary to our community account @steem-atlas.

The suggested level of beneficiary is 10% but any amount will be appreciated...

  An interesting post from Pakistan about a bus station - another category of place not commonly covered on Steem Atlas so far.

• @willeusz : CITYSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #231 - TELEFÉRICO DE SANTIAGO, CHILE
  This post goes up in the air to cover Santiago Cable Car with great photos and very useful text.
