Hi, all fellow Steemians,

Good morning from India,

Yes, this week was a little lazy for me as I wasn't as active as I usually am even if I posted enough posts in travel niche. I shall be leaving India for my next assignment on Tuesday so I will not be much active again in the coming week and my next SR report will be from Canberra.

I was a bit disheartened since the Steem price touched ATL around 11 Cents which I hadn't ever seen during my stay of two years and ten months on the Steemit blockchain. The rates have gone up a bit but you never know.

However, I didn't give up writing, as I love to write about travel, and that is what I did this week. I also started a new experiment by linking my older post to #steemit-atlas, which gave me satisfaction and also kept me busy locating the exact point on Steem Atlas, which is a tedious job.

My traveling posts in different Steemit communities

My suggestion

I feel the Steemit team is serious about the changes despite having their own concerns with AI, as I can see increasing contests in various topics and clubs, but I feel the participation is going down, so I would like to request the Steemit team to add a few more topics.

I am sure if the Steemit Team adds literature, fiction, and other creative writing topics, they will add value to "Learning Contests." I believe that if we want to make this 6-week contest more interesting by bringing back another category in these topics, that will not only increase participation but also add value to the contests.

My power-ups

Due to my business offline I have yet to add Steem to my wallet this week, so my balance remains close to 45.6 K+ SP, but as I have enough Liquid Steem balance in my wallet, I will add them tomorrow that will take me past 46K SP.

Offline, I finalized my project plan and travel schedule before leaving for Australia, but it was almost done well in advance, so there was not much to do apart from arranging for advance payment of bills for the coming months since some of our bills are not on auto payment online, but we have to make arrangements in case we leave home for a long time.

Newbie Promotional Program

A New Initiative to help newbies

As I reported in my last report, I made a change in my "Newbie Promotional Program." I have raised the rank limit from 50 to 55, as I feel this will give me a little more liberty to select promising Steemians.

To support newbies, I am planning to help them in their writing journey on Steemit with a couple of new strategies, like a "Travel Writing Contest" that will encourage them to share about their region and country.

I am proud to announce once again that I supported as many newbies as I could through various methods, including setting them as beneficiaries in my posts every week, which helps them stay positive. I always vote for the best posts according to their quality and support them in my capacity as moderator and Steem representative.

As usual, my online or offline activities did not stop me from visiting and finding promising authors from the newcomers' community and selecting my quota of two of the best, under 50 rank, irrespective of their club status, communities, and countries.

As always, I spent time with a couple of newbies on their or my posts. I feel like more and more newbies are getting in touch with me, and that's heartwarming when they are among them as they approach me.

I supported two more newbies, keeping them as beneficiaries in my different posts. As I always mention, I will keep supporting newbies because my "Newbie Support Program is working well, and I feel good when I see newbies feel motivated and respond happily through their comments.

My selected users

As a routine, I selected the first "newbie," @docsitayolimar, the first beneficiary of the week.

I selected for this post:

I was Moonstruck? Trust me, I was not!

As usual, I am writing a message on the selected posts, and some of them understand the meaning of my message, so they feel happy and respond positively because they feel someone cares for them.

I posted a comment on her post, but there was no reaction.

A message on that post, whom I have set as beneficiaries in this post, her reply was quick as she noticed my comment.

Moderator Duty

I completed my weekly duty as moderator, which took a lot of my time but had too few real travel posts, but mostly diary posts. However, the travelers posting their travel experiences compensated for my time and efforts.

Again, I am trying my best to support genuine queries by Steemians, both new and old, through various channels to support them in spreading awareness and pacifying them in case anyone has a problem.

Once again, I am proud to announce that as SR, I try my best to support all good posts, but let me request the authorities once again that the SRs should get more power to support Steemians with extra voting power to talented Steemians. I hope the Steem Team will see a point in my suggestion.

My Account Summary

Screenshot (2813).png

As usual, my CSI is in the range of 10-15, as I am supporting all who need my support; however, this week I could not visit as many posts because writing reports, moderation, and curation kept me busy on other assignments.

These are my regular posts

Screenshot (2814).png

I have posted daily and made as many comments as I can. I admit that there were no 'learning contests' for me in the just concluded season, so I did not participate in the official contest this week again.

As usual, I am doing my job without any partiality, always thinking beyond any specific country or community, and supporting everyone on the platform on an equal basis. Last but not least, thanks to all the Steemians for all they do to support me and the Steemit platform in general.

That's all for this week!

Thanks all; have a nice time ahead.

Yours sincerely,

@dove11
