Steem Representative Weekly Report #45th from [5th-12th March, 2025]
Steem greetings @everyone and welcome to my blog as I present my 45th report as the Steem Representative. It is yet another week for me to report on my activities on the platform for the week of 5th-12th March 2025.
It was another week of work with heads high while trying to scale a balance between offline commitments and business as usual on Steemit. This has not been without some hitches I suffered ill health for 5 days now battling with malaria. It was somehow challenging but I had to seek alternative means to stay active on the platform as usual.
That said, below I will share my different activities carried out across the platform within the above-stated period.

It was our first week of curation with Team 04 for March 2025. I created a Google sheet and a daily curation schedule for the team where we input daily curation data for proper weekly reports. I had three days of curation and I curated a total of 76 articles and also supported comments.
I also wrote the week 1 report of the team 04 curators for March. In the report, I worked with collaboration from the team members in the selection of the top 7 posts of the week.

The first week of the curation was good though I was sick with malaria but I made sure to fulfil my duties well.

For this week's promotion activities, I discussed with 06 persons I met on my farm and they both showed interest to join. I tried creating accounts but due to poor internet signals in the village, we were unable to create any account.
More so, I used my WhatsApp status as another means to promote Steemit to my contacts. During this week’s promotion I was not able to create any new account but hopefully one day someone will find interest in creating an account.

It is a routine that every week we meet online and discuss how to better manage the community and this week was not indifferent. We discussed about bringing back the act of kindness contest and my town in 10 pics. I will also sponsor a new contest in the community and all these will go operational next month.
We believe in the slogan “…we are stronger together”. We also continued discussions on strategies to bring back inactive members. So far, some of the old inactive members are back though their activities on the platform are timid. We tried to encourage them to see the need for us to build a stronger community together.
As a plagiarism leader and actively fighting all forms of abuse in the community, I had to ensure that content creators create quality content free from any form of abuse on steemit. 03 user were cautioned to refrain from using copyrighted images and to also properly reference the free images used in their content.
I continued to caution steemians especially newcomers about clicking on phishing links and operating 3rd party DApps via discord. This is because they risk losing their Steemit accounts to hackers. I also informed them about “account recovery” within 30 days if not they stand to lose the account to hackers.
I continued with the mentorship of some newbies via Discord on the importance of being consistent, creating quality content and most importantly engaging with other users via meaningful comments. I cautioned them to also refrain from using AI to create content because we have a zero-tolerance policy towards AI users and plagiarists. I encouraged them to constantly power up steem to increase their steem power and support each other.

It was another week for me to share content on diverse topics on the platform. Below are some of the content I shared.
I equally engaged with other Steemit users by commenting and giving feedback on the posts.
I powered up some liquid steem to increase my voting power to support other content creators.

I used my effective Steem power of over 64k to support steemians with quality content on the platform.

Preference was given to authors writing creative and quality articles across the platform. Over the week, I reached out to 97 accounts and upvoted 125 posts with a CSI score of 16.3.
At this juncture, I have come to the end of my presentation of my weekly activities report.
