Do we have a dispute process for content owners to remove plagiarized posts from condenser?

Do we have a takedown process for plagiarized content?

Someone is alleging on reddit that this 4 year old Steem post was plagiarized.

Presumably, this is from the new Steem account of the same redditor who was the post's original author (Ann H.). Here is the original post, from 6 years ago.

I think it's impossible to remove the content from the blockchain, but I believe there's a possibility to remove it from the front-end. Is that correct? If so, how is the "challenge" process initiated?

cc: @codergrr - Welcome to Steem. I hope we can find a way to help you out.

As a "welcome" to the blockchain, a 10% beneficiary setting has been applied to this post for @codergrr. 90% of rewards are being burned.

Sort:

I’m not sure about individual posts, but the account can be permanently muted. This has been done before with abusive profiles.

I’ll try to contact the person I know with the skillz - @steemcurator01 / @steemcurator02 should be able to request this too if the content’s still present when they next log on.

For clarity, @manny1414 needs to disappear.

Hopefully @codergrr will stick around

Thanks! That would handle the immediate problem. It would be good, too, if someone publishes a way for authors on the Internet to submit challenges in the future. It was just a fluke that I happened to see this comment on reddit (I don't even have an account there).

Total fluke - There are probably lots of instances where this has happened and nobody's seen it.
