A New Beginning: Adjusting to Our New Campus
Assalam u Alaikum How are you all? I hope you all are fine. First of all, thank you for coming to my post and reading it. I appreciate it. So our 7th sem has started, but this is a new beginning for me because now we students don’t have our fav campus anymore, so in the new campus, new beginnings are there adjusting to that environment is a task itself. Such students have spent 3 years on such a beautiful and big campus, so just think when they come to such a campus, which is just like a department, how it will feel. Anyway, whatever happened, we have accepted, but because the campus is now very far from our home, the uni people have started a free shuttle service so that everyone can easily reach the north campus.
So, as yesterday was our first day, now we have to wake up a little early because the point is coming to a stop early, and if we don’t reach the stop on time, then the point will be missed, so I woke up at 6 am, prayed, washed my face, had breakfast, got ready, and left home at 7:15, and when I reached the stop so other students were also there at the stop, and then we were waiting for our shuttle. Basically, four shuttles were running, and in the message, it was told that all four would go from our stop. Still, all had different routes and timings, so no one was shuttle 3 in which from the first stop my friends were sitting, so they were in contact with me so when I reached the stop then she told me that shuttle 3 is already full there is no space at all so we got worried that now what we will do and then we knew that only two shuttles are going from our stop and the rest two are going from some other route which is shuttle 2 and 1. Then we were waiting that they will come we got to know that they have already gone so now we were total four students left.
That was a relief that our class was late, so we decided that we should go by public transport, which there was a lot of struggle, which meant we had to change three buses then we reached the campus, we thought that we should take Indrive which was taking us in the same price in which we were going by public transport the same per head cost came and we peacefully reached the campus so the first day our shuttle got missed then we went attended the class which was networking which was the first class so it was boring anyway what we could explore the campus there was nothing like that, and the campus is so small that if you are ignoring someone or avoiding someone then you cannot go anywhere every 2 minutes you will meet that person whom you are ignoring anyway now we have to bear it for 1 year then anyway after the class ended we immediately ran towards the points because we didn’t want that the point gets missed while going back too.
We peacefully went and sat in the point, and the journey back was very tiring, and then as soon as we got the news of a public holiday, the happiness was beyond limits now again tomorrow I have to wake up early I don’t understand what will happen to us in Ramadan this semester is going to be very hectic because this sem’s courses are also difficult and FYP has to be finalized in this sem too just a prayer that this semester passes well.
