A Day in Hyderabad: My First Business Class Train Journey || 10% Beneficiary set to @steem-nations
Hello, how are you all? I hope you are doing well. So yesterday, our long-time planning finally succeeded, and it happened like this: we had been thinking about going to Hyderabad for quite some time. Papa told us, "Let's go to Hyderabad one day." So we planned to go, and on Saturday, we went. Now, we didn’t need to book tickets because, as my papa got promoted, we were now allowed to travel in business class, whereas earlier it was economy. But now, since he is promoted, we only planned a one-day trip because, as usual, I don’t have time. Assignments, quizzes, FYP—everything is so hectic that I don’t get time. But anyway, I managed to take out one day and we left our house at 7 AM because our house is just 10 minutes walking distance from the railway station. So, we walked there, and since the train was not late, we directly boarded the business class. This was my fourth train journey and my first time in business class.
Anyway, we first saw the economy class, and the conditions were very bad. Then we saw the AC standard, which was slightly better. Then came the business class, which was excellent because it was compartment-style, like a small room where you can lock yourself in, and rest, and no one will disturb or even look at you. So, we took one compartment in the business class, locked it, and sat peacefully because the total journey was 4 hours. Initially, we talked, enjoyed the outside view, had breakfast, and then slept. Around noon, we reached Hyderabad. Since Hyderabad is not a very big city and Karachi is something else entirely—I still haven’t found anything better than Karachi, maybe because I was born there and I love Karachi the most.
Anyway, I went to explore Hyderabad, but I didn’t find any particular place there to visit or roam around. When we arrived, we saw an (Sanctuary) in front, so we visited it because I am interested in seeing old-fashioned holy places. I visited the entire inside of it, which was built quite beautifully. We stayed there for some time, and then we left. We saw the market and did some shopping, and this all took up our time. After that, my papa’s friend invited us to their house to meet the family. We stayed there for a short time because the train for our return journey was about to arrive. Around 3 PM, we boarded the return train, which had already started moving, and the return train was a bit faster, so we reached home exactly at 6 PM.
Since everyone was tired, we ate food from outside. The entire day was busy, and the pending tasks from that day had to be done today. And suddenly, it got so cold that I didn’t feel like coming out from under the comforter.
