@djanita Welcome To My Wonders Again || A Delicious Iftar Treat!
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh!
I hope you all are doing quite Better and for the one fasting your Ramadan is going well and bringing you peace, blessings, and spiritual growth.
Starting after a long and fulfilling day of fasting, the moment of iftar finally arrived,i prepared to break my fast with something healthy and comforting.
As soon as the azan echoed, i took my first sip of water, feeling the coolness soothe my dry throat. Then, i reached for my plate of mash daal, a simple yet deeply satisfying dish. The soft, well-cooked daal blended perfectly with the ghee, giving it a rich and comforting taste with rice it taste even better.
Each bite carried the warmth of home-cooked food, with hints of spices adding a subtle kick of flavor. It felt like the perfect way to restore my energy after a long fast.
As I savored the daal, I couldn't help but reflect on how fasting teaches patience and gratitude. Even the simplest meals feel like a feast when you’ve gone hours without food. The soft texture of the lentils, combined with the slightly crispy layer on top, made every spoonful incredibly satisfying. The warmth of the meal spread through me, making me feel both physically and emotionally content.
But of course, iftar isn’t complete without a little sweetness!
After finishing my plate of mash daal, I treated myself to a crispy ice cream cone, its pink, creamy texture a refreshing contrast to my savory meal. The cold ice cream melted in my mouth, delivering the perfect balance of sweetness and chill, making it a delightful ending to my iftar. The crunchy cone added an extra layer of texture, making every bite even more enjoyable.
The joy of breaking the fast with a simple meal, the comfort of warm food, and the sweetness of a small treat all felt like little reminders of how blessed we are. Every meal, no matter how simple, becomes special in this beautiful month.
May Allah accept our fasts, prayers, and duas Ameen!
