A Delicious Iftar Feast with My Sister
Ramadan evenings have a special kind of magic like having food with family and the warmth of shared moments.
This time, my sister and i decided to step out for iftar hoping for a cozy restaurant experience.
We booked a careem , but as luck would have it, the ride took longer than expected, sitting at home checking the time and waiting for the car to arrive made the hunger feel even more intense by the time we reached the restaurant the call for Maghrib Adhan had already filled the air, and we rushed to break our fast with the simplest yet most divine of Sunnah traditions dates with whipped cream, the sweet and creamy combination melted in our mouths instantly reviving our energy.
As we scanned the menu, our eyes landed on something we always crave ramen, but with Ramadan in mind we wanted something more fulfilling yet wholesome which gives us some energy.
After much discussion we opted for these juicy, overloaded beef burgers.
The moment they arrived, we knew we had made the right choice.
The buns were golden, soft, and sprinkled with sesame seeds, giving them that classic appeal.
As we lifted the burger, thick, melted cheese oozed out, coating the crispy beef patty with a creamy, delicious layer. The size alone was enough to make our hunger vanish these were absolute monsters of burgers!
Every chew was a burst of savory, smoky flavors, making us forget the long wait for our ride earlier, the place had a warm, inviting vibe, with other families around us also enjoying their iftar. fries, drinks, and chatter filled the table, making the moment feel even more special, even though our original plan was to have ramen, this burger turned out to be the best decision of the night.
Looking back, it wasn’t just the food that made the night memorable it was the experience, the laughter we shared the joy of finally having our meal and the comforting feeling of eating together made this iftar one to remember. Sometimes the best plans are the ones that change last minute and this was a delicious reminder of that.
May He accept all your prayers, fasts, and good deeds.
