Week 6: A Child, A Million miles Food aid was successfully Carried out

We visited Greenstars international schools in this week 6 and we were able to really put smiles on the faces of the kids. We continue to make waves within the city of Uyo as we carry out this charity project.

Through Alli001, we were connected to this school but the population of the school exceeds our target for each week, Hence, we decided to visit, distribute our aids to one part of the school and to revisit next week in week 7 to complete the rest. The school was the one that gave us the part of the kids that we attended to and it was a success.

Because this school will start her midterm break on Wednesday, we were asked to visit that same day. Arrangements were made for the purchases of uncooked food which is noodles to be bought with the available resources. The downward movement of steem is really affecting the purchases but we continue to make the best use of the resources available.

With the cash realised from the steem sent to @steem.humanity account, we were able to buy the noodles for distribution
