This is my story where sorry saved the situation
Hi @ngoenyi. My boss actually shared this your post in our own platform and so I decided to participate.
I think I've had countables of situation like these from similar offenders, and it's painful when you're the beggar.
This one happened in Lecture hall, Ignatius Ajuru University. There is this guy often described as the lender. Everybody in the class knows him as that. We were actually having test this time around, and I came to school with 2 pen. I'm someone that does not like or love disappointment. And so I will always get everything needed while coming to school, so that I won't join the lenders team, and I won't be buckled up with series of distractions.
I sat close to the first desks. The test is about to start, the lecturer warns the students. I adjusted myself into that little space where no lender will see me. And get myself mentally prepared for the bombarding questions that will be released.
2 minutes to go. This guy is still holding the fake pen that only seems real. I don't have much time to focus on someone's business when I haven't been able to focus on mine, and so I wave my attention into a spring box.
“Start!, the lecturer begins. I just answered the first question as this same guy screamed amidst everyone in the class. “Shit! My pen just finished”, “Who can render help?”, the lecturer didn't want the usual noise that do distract his attention from flying round the class, and so immediately he joined him asking for anyone who might have two.
I identified myself by my hand and the lecturer came close to me. I majestically handed over the pen to him, so he be swift in his approach. The young man collected the pen and appreciated me. But before this, I notice a slight reaction of annoyance leap round others faces.
The test ended 1:30 minutes. I was the first person to summit. But I was waiting for this young man to finish up and deliver the pen back. Only to hear another scream declaring: Who took my pen. I can't find it. I was almost teared into pieces. I could remember my spirit telling me not to give, since I had known his kind of person.
Sorry was the feedback. He didn't even think of repaying me back, he just ended everything with a single word Sorry.
Hmm! It's annoying, I'm completely fixed in a tight corner. So I can't even cough, immediately he declared that, everybody laughed at me. I was seeing like a fool but I swallowed the pains.
I would've save myself a cup of coffee by hardening my heart after hearing things about him. But I held bound, and still considered his request not invalid. He didn't even acknowledge that he lost the pen, at first, he was trying to cross post different heads together. But thank God, the lecturer was there.
I would've become more tensed if the guy didn't said sorry. Most times, even in our debts, learn to say Sorry. It may be small, but it's a healing passport.
I invite @bossj23, @deetalka6 and @basil20 to participate in this contest.

Thanks too for your continuous supports. I'm grateful
In life sorry really means alot because no matter how hard or bad you have committed immediately you said sorry everything will be calm.
To say sorry don't remove anything from any human being rather it let things go and it makes issues to be settled.
Nice reading your post friend 🤗
Thanks for reviewing. I'm grateful
They way God created the minds of humans is just so marvelous, because I'm just imagining how someone can be very very angry and at the peak of doing something crazy but when that simple word "Sorry" comes out of the offender's mouth, the anger will just melt away.
It's a nice things that you were able to clear your doubt about the guy lender so that next time you will know what steps to take, as they say"Experience is the best teacher".
You're right. Experience is the best teacher. The guy was so annoying. I thank God I could learnt from an hard way even though it wasn't easy to set apart. Thanks for reviewing my work
You're welcome 🥰
🤜🤛
Well. The most important thing is that you did the good did. Having known the type of person he is, you may not give him again next time . We usually have such people in every school who doesn't take things seriously. But I am glad that he said sorry though not from his heart. But rest assured that one day, he will remember the good in his heart. Well, it's good to be good and always say sorry. Thank you for your entry. It is noted
Thanks for your concern Ma. I'm grateful
