Greetings steemians!

How are you all? I hope you are all fine. Today I am going to talk about the exploration challenge brought by @karianaporras. The contest is about marking tracks for those who follow your path.
Whether you are going on a hiking trip or visiting someone's residence you need to keep signs for those coming after you. They will follow your marks and reach you on time.

I am excited about this week's challenge. Last week was fun and we learned many new things. Today's topic is also very interesting. We will learn about the different signs used and their meanings.

Task 1

Locate 3 natural trails and 3 artificial trails in your area and explain what each of them is about.

Natural trails:

Natural trails

One day my friend told me that when you get lost in the mountains while hiking you should search for animal waste. The waste will lead you to the right path. If you can't find cow or buffalo waste then look for goat waste.

I also want to share that dog footprints can be used to investigate a path. It's one of the natural trails. I love investigating and following these footprints.

When I was young and played hide and seek I would search for others' footprints in mud or sand. I really enjoyed this demanding challenge this week.

The tree trunk indicates a stop for many tourists. They stop here to cook and camp.

Another stop is for passengers who wait for their vehicles especially buses. This stop is a famous spot in our area.

Artificial tracks

Artificial tracks are easy to recognize and investigate. Usually we follow the GPS system to find any location. However when we don't have resources like mobile phones and internet we can still find places by recognizing signs and symbols.

Mostly we get directions from billboards or banners on the roadside. Sometimes names of schools hospitals and markets are well-known and familiar to everyone. This makes artificial tracks easy to navigate.

I am sharing a few examples of artificial tracks with you such as school names and other signs. The road signs show the direction of different areas. People can follow them and reach their destination.

One picture contains a mosque. This is a famous mosque. We tell strangers about this mosque when we want them to reach us.

Another picture is of a school. We can also use the name of the school to show direction to someone if they want to reach somewhere.

These are examples of signs and their meanings.

Task 2

Trace a path in your area and use the clue signs to locate each space on the map accordingly. Remember to use elements of the environment and nature to form the clues.

Explain in your own words the path you followed, the elements you used, and where you arrived

I started my track from home with my son. Our teacher assigned us to start from the "#️⃣" sign. I began by placing four woods to mark the starting point.

After a two-minute walk the road was ahead of us. I followed the left-hand side and assigned a trace mark on both sides. I used a cross sign ❌to indicate the wrong way on right side used wooden stick and a right arrow ↖️ to show the correct path used stones.

When we turned left , I place the straight arrow ➡️ using wooden sticks .

As we continued a roundabout appeared ahead of us forming a T-shape. The left side was the wrong way so we followed the right side. I marked the right side↗️ arrow using small blocks of tiles.
And placed cross mark ❌on the left side of road .
After walking for five minutes there was a small turn. I drew an arrow➡️ on the ground using a stick to indicate the direction to follow up the straight road.

Later there was a left turn but it was the wrong turn for us. So I placed a cross sign ❌ using sticks. We continued walking straight on the road until we reached a point with a straight and left turn. We needed to turn left so I placed a left sign↖️ track and put a cross ❌on the straight road.

When we turned left ⤴️ our school was in sight which was our destination. I placed the required signs ⏺️at that position. Our track ended here.

What did you think of this week's homework? Did you know you could leave clues in a very simple way? Was this course easy for you to complete? What was the most difficult part, and what did you learn?

Honestly speaking it was very engaging and full of creativity. Especially the artificial and natural tracks which reminded me of my childhood. This type of activity improve our thinking skills and help us become familiar with our surrounding. We can learn many things about nature and environmental aspects.

The concept of leaving clues behind can play an important role in times of difficulty or can be used for fun. It can also be used as a guide tour to help others who are coming behind us. Before this task I have no idea about leaving clues behind. I want more tasks like this as it is very beneficial for us.

I think the most difficult part was the natural tracks. Sometimes it is difficult to trace them out as it required special skills. After this course I will continue to navigate different natural tracks.

As for the course it was well-structur and easy to follow. I have learned a lot from this including different signs for natural tracks artificial tracks wrong turns camping danger war and right and left turn signs. i want to thank you again for this contest.

I want to invite my friends to take part in this competition. I am hoping they will enjoy and will definitely learn from it.

Best Regards,
@fazal-qadir

Bendiciones

Thank you my friend for commenting on my post. Yes , we have to learn basic skills, how to plant vegetables, how to build small houses for shelter, how to install solar system. We don't know the future and skills like these are also required for navigate, to communicate in codes and etc. I am learning and I am so happy to be following it. Big hug my friend. ☺️🌹

MODs Comment/Recommendation:

Waste will lead you in the right direction. If you can't find cow or buffalo waste, look for goat waste. Your post is very well presented. And gave a very good example.
