"Fasting In Ramadan"
hello everyone. On this occasion I want to take part in the contest held by @abdullahw2 regarding Contest Alert || Fasting In Ramadan following my previous entry I would like to invite friends @iffatilyas @chant @shahidalinaz to participate in this contest
The Main Goal of Ramadan Fasting
Ramadan fasting is one of the pillars of Islam that is mandatory for Muslims. The main goal is to increase devotion to Allah SWT,
By refraining from eating, drinking and various things that break the fast, a Muslim learns to be more disciplined and draw closer to Allah through worship and prayer.
The Benefits of Fasting in Spiritual and Physical Aspect
Faithwise, one can increase their faith and proximity to allah through fasting. When you radiate worship in the form of more salaah, Qur'an during sleep and dhikr, the heart becomes tranquilized with spirit. Fasting teaches one about patience and the gift of everyday.
Fasting, for the physical it is full of health advantages. Avoiding eating and drinking for a while relax the digestion system, it boosts metabolism and aids body detox. Evidence also exists that fasting increases brain function, decreases the likelihood to get diseases (e.g., diabetes) and, ultimately, aids with weight loss.
These are my Favorite Sahur and Iftar Recipes
I love oats with bananas and honey for sahur, Oatmeal is full of fibre so it gives slow energy, bananas for potassium and we all know that dehydrating is not part of our plan. Natural sweetness and endurance-added by honey.
As for breaking the fast, dates and chicken soup are my favorite choices. Dates contain natural sugars that quickly restore energy, while chicken soup provides fluids and nutrients that the body needs after a day of fasting.
Things to Do and Not to Do While Fasting
Things to do:
Worship (pray, read the qur'an also remember ALLAH)
Eat healthy food for your sahur to keep your fast clean
Break your fast with healthy food and not too much.
Maintain morals, speak well, and avoid bad deeds.
Things to avoid:
Lie, gossip, or say bad things because it can reduce the reward of fasting.
Eat and drink excessively when breaking the fast, which can cause digestive problems.
Be lazy or spend time just sleeping without worship.
Get angry or get emotional because it can ruin the meaning of fasting.
By understanding the purpose, benefits, and correct procedures for fasting, Ramadan becomes a month full of blessings that brings positive changes to the body and soul.
