“My favorite street food”

Hello @everyone accept greetings from my home country Cameroon.Its a great pleasure participating with my entry in this amazing contest titled “My Favorite street food”. Cameroon is made of more than 250tribes with diverse culture , with many different cultures of street food.That can be seen food vendors selling .One of this is fried huckleberry ,with Dudu and fried chicken.

The truth is am not a fan of eating street food but not withstanding.There are cases am bound to eat because I was busy and I had time constraints to prepare my meal .For this reason my favourite street food will always be roasted fish, either with fried potatoes,plantain or bobolo .

It’s is easy to find roasted fish along the streets during day .Especially in the afternoon, they are a lot of vendors that sales at the roadside inside a small sheet .I mostly buy or place a commands I feel entrusted their hygienic condition is good .From their place of roasting you will obvious know .Also, I consider the taste of the roasted and the aroma .If it what I want before buying .

Another, special meal I deliberately buy from the street is Achu .This a meal very common in Cameroon and considered a very special meal in most occasions. Achu is made of pounded coco with yellow soup. This food need a lot of time to prepare it and most of the time .Since is my favourite meal, I decides to buy from the street.

Achu can be taken as lunch or dinner depending on the individual.As for me I mostly enjoyed this meal in the street during afternoon hours as my lunch. You can find it in restaurants in my collection or along the streets .Some vendors sale it at the roadside .

These my favourite streets food above listed almost share common unique ingredients.We have Garlic ,onions , white pepper, green pepper , chili , green spices, salt , maggi and vegetable oil.

As for Achu it ingredients is totally different from roasted fish and fried huckleberry and chicken. .Yellow soup ingredients includes ,palmoil ,Niki, salt, maggi , salt and a combination of Achu grind dry spices.

One of the main thing that makes these street food special to me it’s because of it nutritional value. To body , it makes one fresh , strong and healthy when frequently consumed.

I earlier mentioned , I consume these streets food once in a while .Especially days am very busy at the jobsite and I find myself not having enough time cook . I decide to buy street food .Am not a fan of street food because I doubt the hygienic preparing the foods and handling it by vendors .

That why most at times I prepared my own food and not eating street food always.In a months I can buy street food once or twice.

As for me I will recommend things like roasted or fried chicken with Dudu and roasted fish . This is because most people in my location selling these as street food .Are very neat and does it well which be healthy for consumption.

At this juncture , I have come to the end of my presentation about street food. But I will end by saying I like home prepared food than street food.Food prepared by ourselves always taste different .One take time to cook it well more than street food.I would invites @crismenia ,@Josepha and @sduttaskitchen .To participate in this contest by sharing to us their favorite street food.
