A Memorable Farewell to My Seventh Semester
The 7th semester has ended and I still think I came to the university yesterday. Time passed with the winking of my eye. I will be sharing some highlights of my last day of this semester.
Today it was the last day of the seventh semester along with the last exam day of this semester. I was very excited for this last paper. So to push myself closer to the ending of the semester I woke up early in the morning and I got my blue shirt with a light cream colour pants. The excitement was appearing on my face after dressing up myself.
The bus stand is nearby my house so I could walk on foot to go their. I went to the bus stand. The clock was ticking and in a few minutes the bus arrived. It was looking full of passengers with no more seats. But I had to go to early. So I got into the bus and luckily I got a seat at the end. I covered around 14 kilometres at this bus.
From the bus I got off at the coaster stand. Next to this there was kchehri chowk and from there some vehicles go directly towards the university. So I went to Kchehri chowk. I stood there for a few minutes and to my luck the bus arrived. It was going directly to the university. I got into the bus and after traveling on that bus for 45 minutes I reached university. I got off the bus at the first gate of the university which is known as DOMs gate.
As soon as I entered the university the beautiful and tall flowering trees were welcoming me to the university. Literally it was really looking very beautiful and the weather was also very kind. My exam was at 11:00 am so I had time to revise my topics. I got into the reading room and started revising my syllabus. I revised everything completely before the start of the exam paper.
After the completion of the exam paper my friends decided to spend a little time collectively. So we reached Cafe La Trova to get some snacks and spend quality time while discussing the semester and exams. But here nothing was available. So we reached Friends Cafe.
At friends cafe there were no seats available. But we saw some dispersed chairs here and there or with other students. We requested then to give us the free chairs and in this way we were able to get the chairs. We were discussing the completion of the exams and for this second last semester. We all were grateful for the completion of the last exam.
The service provider came there and we ordered fresh and hot samosa. But here the samosas were not available. We needed 7 plates of samosas means 14 in total. So we did some wait for the arrival of the fresh and crispy samosas. He brought the plates with the some salad and full bowls of raita so that we could use according to our requirements. The spoons were disposable but I was afraid if they would break while crushing samosa 😂. These were tasty and crispy. Then we got a cold drink with disposable glasses.
After spending my time with my friends at university I left university and started my journey towards home. While I was coming to home on the way the bus stopped due to traffic because of the construction of the waste water management system. The big excavator machine was digging a wide and deep excavation to accumulate big pipes. Actually they are connecting the waste water of the city to a big well.
I reached Depalpur via bus. When the bus reached in Madinah Chowk it was stuck due to the traffic jam. But soon traffic was cleared because of the wonderful management of the traffic police. The traffic police worker was really smart and honest and due to his intelligence he managed to clear the road in a few moments. In this way I reached home soon.
After reaching home I took some rest. After taking rest I went to the graveyard of my father. I miss my father a lot all the time. He was a great man and the best father. His absence is really challenging and painful for me. On each step of my life I miss his presence and pray for his wellbeing. He was really a man of dignity and self respect. He brought up all the family by working hard day and time and feed us well.
After coming back to home I did some homework tasks. I spent some time with my neighbour friends. They are very interesting and funny. Then it was the night time and in a desi family the dinner is done as soon as the evening ends and the night spreads it's wings. So I took my dinner. It was a tasty and delicious homemade chicken curry with the homemade wheat breads. I finished eating my dinner. I didn't some time with my family and in this way my this day ended with the end of my seventh semester.
I felt better after a beautiful diary game, since your 7th semester exam ended today and you had to wait for the bus and stand for a while to go to this exam hall, but I think because your bus came at the right time, you were able to cover such a long distance and take the exam on time, after the exam is over, it is fun to eat samucha and salad with friends, I also like machmache samucha. It is a very sad thing that your father is gone, may Allah grant him Jannatul Firdous, Amen. I miss your father a lot, so I went to the grave and prayed a lot for him, may Allah accept your prayers.
