The Diary Game Contest #69 : Enjoying My Work Free Day

Warm greetings my beautiful ladies in the house, it's your favorite girl @missyleo. I am so excited to be here to share my daily routine with you all, please kindly permit me to do so, as you will enjoy it.

I woke up so well and feeling so relieved yesterday because I sleep for a longer time, imagine waking up by 8am in a working day, just because I didn't have to go to work that day, it was my off-day from work and I was so happy because there was nothing like rushing out of bed and trying to fix one or two things and just hurried up to join the tricycle and all that, just to meet up with time...

Yesterday was a special day for me because I had to use that one free day to do so many things in my house and also take care of myself too.

As I got out of bed, still feeling lazy, I just stroll sluggishly into the bathroom brushed my teeth and washed my face before I began to attend to all the chores I had in mind for the day.

I soaked my two curtains with detergent inside the water to stay for few minutes, while I used that time to washed my hair thoroughly well. I don't normally wash my hair at the salon because I have a virgin hair and I have my brand of shampoo and conditioner which I usually use for my hair. Whereas in the salon, they can use any type of shampoo to wash your hair, so I had to do my washing at home before taking it to the salon for plaiting.

I started washing my hair, by applying shampoo on it, I washed like twice before I could feel the cleanness of it. Then I now applied conditioner on the hair, I massaged it very well, making sure that the conditioner touches every part of my hair and then I combed it so that it can detangle freely and allowed it to stay like 2 minutes before I finally washed it off.

I washed off the conditioner with warm water, making sure it's absolutely clean, then I used my small towel to dry off the water from my hair.

After drying the water off it completely, I went ahead to apply my hair creams. I have three types of hair creams which I used for now, two of them are leave-in conditioner, different brand and the other one is an hot-balm(anti-itching) to prevent dandruff from entering it.

After applying all the creams on my hair, I took time to comb it till it became soft then I proceeded to another duty, which was washing of the curtains that I had earlier soaked in water.

It was two curtains, one for the door and the other for the window, the window own seems to be bigger than the door own and it was very heavy for me to wash.

Normally this was supposed to be the work of a man or giving to a dry-cleaner but I couldn't give out to be washed because they will charge me much, so I decided to wash my stuff myself.

After I was done washing them, it was already 1pm and heavy sun was shining. I was so hungry badly, and unfortunately there was no food in the house for me to eat except for beverages, which I used for tea.

I fried an egg and prepared hot tea and took with two slice
of bread.

After I was done eating, I went to the bathroom and shower, dressed up and stepped out to the market to buy some food stuff.

I also planned on making my hair, but I decided to go get food stuff from the market and keep so that anytime we are done with plaiting the hair I came go prepare my food at once instead of stressing out to the market with the pain of the hair and secondly by the time we are done with the hair it might be down in the night, and the market people must have closed by then.

When I returned from the market it was already 4pm, I went straight to the house to drop the food items I bought and I spent some few minutes to drink garri and banana before stepping out again to the salon.

At the salon it was about 5:30pm when my stylist began to make my hair. I wanted a simple hair style, since I was using an old attachment, the one I used on my previous hair, but my stylist had to changed the style to something she think will be fine and suitable for me especially with the old attachment.

She was so slow in making the hair and so unserious even when I was complaining to her that I still have something to go do at home, but she keeps assuring me that she will finish up on time.

To cut the story short, we ended up finishing the hair around 10pm in the night, I was so tired, hungry and exhausted. Funny enough she too was also hungry so as she was complaining of hunger, I was complaining too, and no one to console us🤣.

My hair is fine, but the pains wasn't here and till now I'm still feeling the pain. I rarely do ghana-weaving hairstyle because it doesn't last long on my head, it can only last for two weeks, anything past two weeks will be rough and scattered.

After, paying her for the charges, I went back home and prepared my soup that night because I needed to eat something solid that night.

I was able to finished up with everything at about 12:20am, before eating I went and showered first, before I began to eat my dinner in the middle of the night.
