THE DIARY GAME:2-17-25 | It's my 29th Birthday

Today is Feb 17. Another year added in my life but not older as 30's. I am still 29. In my age, I am not thinking of celebrating it, but deep inside I am grateful to God for giving me another year. My happiness comes in simple ways, my family and in the ministry of God. When I am with them, I have so much joy in my heart.

I wake up at 2am to pray and give thanks to the Lord. I go back to sleep again at 3am. I wake up again at 6:56 and I was very late at work for my 7am time in.

It was just an ordinary day for me at work without my co-workers' knowledge about my birthday. I am not showy and I don't have plans to tell them that its my birthday. In my 7 years in my work, never did they know about my birthday.

My sister had plans to treat us in my birthday. I was surprised she called me after work to have dinner in a Korean restaurant. I am a bit afraid because it is raining hard since lunch time. I just think about it as a "raining of blessings".

When I arrived home I told my husband to prepare and we'll have dinner outside. Thanks to her IPhone camera phone, we captured memories for my birthday this year.

This is the name of the restaurant. My sister loves Korean food but I am only after with sushi. I am not picky with foods for as long as I can digest it. This is my 3rd time in Samgyupsal and I am started liking it. They have many foods available and I don't think I can taste all.

Unexpectedly, the rain stop before we get in the outdoor restaurant. I make myself hungry when I know my sister will treat us. This is my definition of happiness - my family. God has blessed me everyday because of them. I may not be rich in finances but I am full of love by the family around me.

Thanks to my only sister by blood who cooks the meat. My mother takes care of my daughter while we eat with my husband. My husband don't fond of eating full, then when he is done, he takes care the children to play while we eat and bond with my mother and sister.

We enjoy eating until we became full. Our stomach can't accommodate more foods as much as we want to. I am very happy on my birthday. I am grateful to them who prepared for this.

It's getting dark and we go home. We had bed plays with our children the pray before they sleep. It has been a long day for me. Another story that will happen tomorrow but I believe with the help of God I can surpass any challenges in time.
