Tell us About your Shocking Moments,
The shocking moment of my life was the moment I heard about the demise of my beloved mother. I was in school preparing for an examination and the previous day before my mother passed away, we both talked on the phone she asked me about how my life was going in my school and I told her I was doing fine, and preparing for exams. I asked about her health and she told me she was getting better, and that she might travel home for Easter not knowing that would be my last communication with my mother.
The next morning, when I had taken my bath, dressed up, and was about to leave my lodge to the school, my dad called me and informed me that Mother had passed away I was so shocked 😳 because I spoke with her less than 24 hours before she gave her the ghost. To date, I and shocked each time I remember the death of my beloved and sweet mother as the memories keep recalling in my mind.
What you realized and What you did at this moment.
I realized that death can be called upon us at any point in time just like my mother whom I communicated with her in less than 24 hours and the next day I was told she was dead. I also, realized that if someone is closer to his or her death there is a sign for the person that the person would like to hear from his or her loved ones before passing away. At that moment, I cried and wept and didn't go to school for that day which I heard prepared to go. My elder brother and some of my friends came to my lodge and console me.

My moment on the Steemit platform, when I was shocked was the moment I won an engagement challenge in the crypto academy community. I have been participating in the challenge entering into competitions with expert Steemians and I was shocked on the day I saw my name published as the first winner among the top 3 selected winners I was the first on the list.
