The diary game 8th February 2025: a visit to Eket and Ibeno beach

Greetings to amazing members of this community it is my pleasure to welcome you all to my blog once again. It has been a while because of school activities. Today I want to tell you all how my Saturday went. Having a wonderful time with your relatives is always something we look forward to and cherish. Read along as I unfold the wonderful moments.

I woke up early sound and healthy feeling grateful for another wonderful day and promising as it would be because of what will come ahead, the joy of seeing my uncle and my cousins I mean I was so optimistic and eager in expectation. I did my morning duties and clear up the veranda Enter the kitchen and make sure that there is no left over food in the pot since we won't be coming back that day so all the food and leftover is meant to be in the fridge I also cleared up the kitchen although it wasn't dirty. Boiled water make it warm so to bath my siblings,then made tea and bread as break fast. We packed our few of our clothes into the box,then put our luggage in the car dressed up and we left the house at about 11:15 am. While going we stopped at my mother's sister house to get food which we will take to the village, when we were done we started our journey.

The journey was smooth and okay as we got to Eket later that afternoon. We called our uncle so he could come and open his gate and also to lock up his dog. He welcomed us warmly into his house showed us our rooms and we relaxed,the younger ones were playing up and down. I saw my cousins I was so happy 😊. I was asked what to eat and I opted for afang soup my favorite soup, the excitement got me that I didn't remember to take pictures of the food. After eating we relaxed and freshened up. My mom asked my uncle to take us to the beach and he said no problem,so we got dressed up with immediate effects hop into the car and off we went.

While on our way to the beach we encountered a lot of check point this is as the result of the conflict between Ibeno and Eket people. We had a safe journey to the beach,I could hear the waves of the ocean from where I was, I was so eager to see th water and have clear view of the ocean. The ocean is so big and large although not the biggest in the world but I was marvelled if that is not the biggest and largest and it is that large to me how will the likes of Pacific Ocean looks like I was trying to comprehend that. Since my uncle is an Exxon Mobil worker now know as Seplat,he told me how they do enter inside the water as there is a very big house inside the water. I requested for a video so as to comprehend very well. We had lots of fun we took pictures together, made sand castles, and entered the horse, and we finally had a drink and we went back home. Feeling so tired and exhausted I took my bath and had my dinner. Thanks for reading.
