Travel story: First time visiting Dhaka University.
Hi Steemit's friends, I am @zubaer
From #Bangladesh
Assalamu Alaikum, how are you all? I hope everyone is well by the grace of Allah Almighty. I am also very well by the grace of Allah Almighty. Today I come to you with a travel story. I visited Dhaka University a few days ago. I went to Dhaka University for the first time. I had never been there before. And I am sharing this entire travel story with you. I hope you like it.
My friend Rakib and I set out for Dhaka University. We have a friend from Dhaka University. Our school friend Himon studies at Dhaka University. So we contacted him before we left. Then we went to Dhaka University. Upon arriving at TSC, we met Himon. Himon will show us the entire university.
TSC is an important and well-known place at Dhaka University. This is where we first came in. There are many tea shops in front of TSC. We had tea first. The tea here is also very popular. We first had tea and talked for a while because we had met after a long time.

We entered the TSC. It is a very beautiful and spacious place. Various teachers and students' union offices are located here. We went inside and walked around. There is a chess tournament going on inside. We watched the game for a while. I really like playing chess. I used to play chess very well, but I don't practice much now. Anyway, I looked around inside TSC.
We are walking around different parts of Dhaka University. I arrived in front of the central mosque of Dhaka University. This is a very old mosque. As you know, the tomb of national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam is located next to this mosque. However, we were unable to visit Kazi Nazrul Islam's grave because the gate was closed today.
Then we moved to the central library of Dhaka University. A very large library. We entered. However, I didn't take any pictures after going inside. So I couldn't share the view inside with you. However, the atmosphere inside the library is very beautiful and quiet. Everyone is busy studying. There is hardly any noise inside. Everyone is studying attentively.
We arrived in front of Dhaka University Central Student Union (DUCSU). The only main student union office of Dhaka University. It is from here that the realization of the rights of university students is established through student leadership.
Anyway, once we arrived at Madhur Canteen. This sweet canteen is an important and historical place at Dhaka University. Politics is practiced here. There is also a huge history behind this sweet canteen. This is a historical place in student politics in Bangladesh. During the time of independent India, discussions were held in this sweet canteen with various historical political figures. This place is also of immense importance in the politics of Bangladesh.

We visited different places. We walked around in front of different halls. Then we moved to Vijay 1971. This is where our friend Himan lives.Himon brought us to his room. We came to his room and freshened up. Then we rested in the room for a while and shared stories. Dhaka University has a lot of students. Most of the students live in the halls. Due to the shortage of seats in the hall, there are more students than the capacity. There are about seven to eight students in a room.

We left the hall and went outside. We moved to the historic Battala campus of Dhaka University. We spent some time here. It's very beautiful and full of plants. And there is a huge banyan tree in this banyan grove. An old and historic banyan tree. It feels great to wander around these areas of Dhaka University surrounded by trees in the afternoon. We sat down at a place and chatted. We talked about various histories of Dhaka University. And that's how my trip ended. It was a very beautiful trip. Let me know how you liked it in the comments.
