My Best Moments of Eid||01-04-2025

I hope all my friends are well, by the grace of Allah. Alhamdulillah, I am also doing very well. Yesterday, we celebrated Eid ul-Fitr in Bangladesh. When Eid comes at the end of Ramadan, every Muslim feels a sense of peace. However, this Ramadan passed very quickly, or at least that's how it felt to me. I have come today to participate in the contest which is organised bu our dear @solaymann sir .I will share all the moments spent celebrating Eid with my family with you all. So let's get started.

•How was your preparation for Eid?

My Eid preparations were quite good. I have always celebrated Eid at my in-laws' house. This time, there was no exception. Eid means a joyful celebration. During Eid, my son wanted to apply henna. I had applied henna on him. Although I can't apply henna very well, I still tried. After applying henna to my son, I applied it to my own hands as well. Celebrating Eid with family is a different kind of joy. After the henna application was done, I finished a lot of work with my mother-in-law so that on the morning of Eid, the workload would be less.

•How was your fashion outfit on Eid? Share your feelings about your fashion outfit.

I always prefer to have a simple look during Eid. I usually wear a three-piece outfit for Eid. However, I didn't wear my Eid outfit yesterday. Instead, I wore something new and light while getting ready. I had prepared my son for the prayer in the morning. He was a bit upset with me for waking him up early and helping him take a bath. When I got him dressed and ready, he didn't want to take any pictures happily. He took a few pictures in his own style. Wearing a Punjabi for Eid prayers is something we all like, so I always buy a Punjabi for my son for Eid.

•What are your favorite foods for Eid? How do they taste and feel?

One of my favorite foods is semai (a type of vermicelli). If semai is not prepared on the morning of Eid, then the cooking is not complete. For us Muslims, it is a Sunnah to eat sweet dishes before going to the Eid prayer. On Eid day, I cook two types of semai. One is lachha semai and the other is red semai. I always love chicken very much. I prefer chicken over beef. So on Eid day, my mother-in-law cooked both chicken roast and meat. The semai cooked by my mother-in-law is very delicious. I really like all the dishes prepared by my mother-in-law.

•Did you travel anywhere during Eid? If yes, tell us about your travel moments.

On Eid day, I did not go anywhere. We always plan to go out the day after Eid. On Eid day, the whole family spends time together at home, celebrating and enjoying with our close relatives and neighbors. Eid means joy and celebration. Many of us love to visit various places during Eid. However, we plan to head to Sylhet tonight, Insha’Allah. My in-laws and I will go out together.I have been to Sylhet about three or four times, but my in-laws have never been there. This time I will go on a trip with them, and very soon I will share my experience of visiting Sylhet with you all, Insha'Allah.
