Stories, learnings and reflection #08 || Honesty will come to life.
Hi Steemian
Hope you are all well. I am fine, thank God! Today I would like to thank @alexanderpeace ma'am for organizing this beautiful competition. I am happy to participate in the competition. I will share a real-life story. I hope you will be with me. So let's get started.
The honest life of a poor rickshaw puller
Zahir Mia starts working every morning on the busy streets of Dhaka. The only asset of this man who is fighting the battle of life is his old rickshaw. He has an old mother, wife and two children in his family. He lives honestly despite poverty and hardship.
One morning, after dropping off passengers, he saw a black wallet lying on the side of the road. Taking the bag in his hand, he saw a lot of money, some important documents and an identity card inside. The thought immediately came to his mind - with this money he could pay off his debt, buy good food for his children, and even get the old rickshaw repaired. But his mind stopped him immediately. Honesty is in his blood.
He saw the identity card and realized that it belonged to a businessman. Without wasting time, he found out the address and delivered the wallet to the man. The owner of the bag, Mr. Basir, at first could not believe that a poor rickshaw puller could show such great honesty. His eyes filled with gratitude.
Mr. Basir was happy and wanted to give some money to Zahir Mia as a reward, but he politely returned it. He said, "Honesty is my greatest asset, sir. This money is not mine, so I cannot take it."
After this incident, Mr. Basir wanted to know about Zahir Mia's life and was impressed by hearing about his struggle. After a few days, he arranged for a new rickshaw for Zahir Mia, so that he could live a little more comfortably.
The story of this honesty of Zahir Mia spread in the area. Everyone started respecting him even more. His story proved that even if there is a lack of money, there is no lack of honesty. The truly rich person is the one whose mind is honest and whose heart is pure.
Moral Education:
An honest person never suffers, but rather his respect and status in society increases. Money can buy many things, but the value of self-respect and honesty cannot be bought with any money. An honest person can earn the respect and trust of everyone in society.

how valuable honesty is in a person's life. Zahir Mia, despite living in simplicity, shows that integrity is more valuable than possessions. His attitude of refusing a gift from Mr. Basir because he felt it was not his right proves that true wealth is not money, but a sincere heart and an honest mind.
Zahir Mia's honesty finally brought blessings in his life. Mr. Basir, who was impressed by his life principles, gave him a new pedicab as a form of appreciation. This proves that good people will always be appreciated, and honesty can bring positive changes, not only for oneself but also for those around them.
This story is also an inspiration to many people in the area. Respecting and appreciating someone is not only because of material wealth, but because of the moral values they hold firmly. Thus, Zahir Mia proves that even though someone may be poor in material terms, they can be very rich in life values. good luck in this contest
