Went to Jack's Place at Toa Payoh for dinner on my birthday according to the lunar calendar.

根据农历，我生日那天去了大巴窑的 Jack's Place 吃晚餐。

It was a Thursday night.

那天是星期四晚上。

Not very crowded.

人不多。

We asked for water which cost 50 cents per person.

我们要了水，每人要给5毛钱。

We ordered one of the meal with a set of soup and dessert and the soup was the Lobster Bisque Soup. Not a big portion.

我们点了一份套餐，包括汤和甜点，汤是龙虾浓汤。份量不大。

We shared the Fish and Chips and that was a good portion.

我们分享了炸鱼和薯条，份量还不错。

We also shared the Grilled Barramundi which was a smaller portion though it cost more.

我们还分享了烤澳洲肺鱼，份量较小，但价格更高。

Last came the dessert which was a Black Forest Cake. Unfortunately, we found a piece of hair after eating half of it.

最后是甜点，黑森林蛋糕。糟糕的是，吃了一半后发现了一根毛。

We showed them the cake after I recorded the video and they didn't charge us the price of the set of soup and dessert and gave a bit of discount. Overall, the dining experience was still not good because of the hairy cake.

录制视频后，我们向他们展示了蛋糕，他们没有向我们收取汤和甜点套餐的价格，还给了一点折扣。总的来说，用餐体验仍然不爽，因为有毛茸茸的蛋糕。
