"Steem Cameroon Best Day Contest - 18/02/25"

Greetings Steemians

I will be talking about my matriculation day which occured last week Tuesday the 18th of February 2025. I was so excited that day and is one of the best days of my life I will never forget. All the freshers in the school gathered in the school new convocation arena for the ceremony to begin, the deans in all the faculties in the University of Portharcourt were all present.

They were there to officially welcome all the new students to their various faculties. It was a unique day. My parents weren't orportuned to attend the ceremony that day like other student's parents but it was ok, at least I was with most of my friends, my elder was present but he later left for something urgent. I spent alot of time interacting with alot of people after the main matriculation ceremony was over.

We were outside having fun and taking alot of pictures, we played some games too that was very interesting. I took pictures with some of my friends and I was very satisfied that I have taken alot of picture on time that day so that I can post them one by one in steemit through different contests. My phone camera isn't very bright to my satisfaction so one of my friends was my photographer for the day.

I was very happy that the weather was favourable for us that day because it won't have been enjoyable if it was raining. I went to meet most of my coursemates that were gathered in a particular hall eating and they offered me food saying that they have been looking for me round the new convocation arena environment. I laughed and told them that I don't stay in one place, am always in different places.

After eating I started strolling with my photographer for the day, we cane across Electrical Engineering students who were taking pictures together. After they took pictures we talked with them and laughed together. Most of them reminded me of the after-matriculation party that's taking place in one of the big hotels around the school environment and I told them I wasn't in the mood to go anywhere after the matriculation ceremony, I had other things to settle. I left and went back to where my coursemates were, they were also taking about the party they will be going.

I finally left the school environment at about 4pm with some of my friends that lives in my neighborhood, we gist and laughed at some funny things on our way home, we also talked alot about the matriculation and some funny things that occurred among students. Some students even wanted to fight themselves with their matriculation gown still on their body. They are lucky people came on time to make the fight impossible. It is my best day because is my matriculation day and in the next few years I believe I will be celebrating my convocation ceremony.
