The Diary Game: how we celebrated our birthday 26/02/25
Hello, on this day I woke up so early to pray for my baby boy, after praying I declared positive words of affirmation on him then I proceeded to shower and I went to the market to buy some things I will be needing to cook .my plans are to cook ; jollof rice Nd fish pepper soup.
I went to the market, I was just roaming about because everything is now expensive.I priced and priced in different shops but when I got tired, I decided to just manage the money given to me and work with d exact budget.After I was done buying ,I went home and started cooking, later my friends came in, it was just joy from every angle, we were so happy cooking ,eatimgy and tasting our meals.joy choke oooo!
After we had cooked .I pleaded with my friends for them to bath in my house because we had used firewood and everyone was stressed.which they all agreed to. When the party had started proper proper,our guest came with their kids Nd husbands...we were so happy receiving everyone for having come to celebrate with us because we won't eat all we have cooked ...you know!
Prayers were said, gift was given , everyone ate to their satisfaction and we were so happy. Especially the celebrant , although he don't understand what going on but his happy to see his friends. I love to see people come in and share in our joy because that alone is a huge sacrifice.....me personally, going out stresses me and I will go all out and come for your occasion without you showing appreciation or even showing things as little as accommodating us! Ahh!......I remember one certain time I came for a friend's occasion .she treated us so bad as though we were nothing, the annoying part was that we came from church so we had not eating any decent meal.we presented our gift to them and they didn't care if we had eaten....out of hunger we left the occasion insearch of restaurant ,which we later found.it wasn't funny ....do you know the painful part? They couple never called to ask if we came home safe or even thank us for the gift and since then I decided never to attend any occasion I'm not of important value to the person because this embarrassment choke oooo.
Finally my people this day was so important to us and having our family and friends come celebrate with us was a rare privilege only the living could celebrate and I thank God everything ended joyfully.
