THE DIARY GAME// A BORING WEEKEND (8-2-2025)

Steem greetings everyone. How was your day today?

I had a boring day today and something crazy happened in the evening of my day just around 5pm.

I woke up feeling not too lively and I decided to just sleep. You know those days when you just don't feel like it. I decided to give myself a break today since I wasn't feeling like doing anything and I concluded on having a good sleep because I haven't been sleeping well lately.

I spent my whole day sleeping, waking up after sometime, seeing a movie and going back to sleep. I tried reading but I couldn't.

Around 5pm, I woke up to a text from one of my clients that booked a call for someone a few days ago. I didn't read the text well. Maybe, I got sleepy eyes and misinterpreted it.

I run a call brand where people pay for a call to be put across for their loved ones.

This person booked the call to be placed on the ninth of February and after waking up from a long sleep, I thought it was a new day. I thought she was asking if the call had been made in the text she sent but she was only reminding me that it was tomorrow.

I called the person and the person didn't even say it was tomorrow. Immediately after the call my mom called and she said something about today's date…. Just then, it occurs to me that today is still the eighth and not the ninth of February.

I quickly told my mom that I was going to call her back and I called the person that the call was booked for and he said it was okay.

He was not even the problem. Like, his own was just a minor problem, so I reached out to the person that paid for the call. My fingers were crossed and I was just hoping she wouldn't feel disappointed. She wasn't online when I dropped the whole message and apologized.

She saw the messages after a short while and she said it was okay. Like, the guy could have simply told me that the birthday was tomorrow.

I still apologized and she dropped a good review; saying she loved everything about the call.

I was relieved. I love customers who understand and treat vendors right. I pray things work hard for such people.

Do not dwell or beat yourself much over a mistake. It may just turn out to be something extraordinary and beautiful. Just take a look at my client's review.
