A BEAUTIFUL SUNNY DAY IN UYO
Good afternoon, Beautiful Steem Mates. How's your afternoon going? Let me tell you about mine. It's a sunny day in Uyo.
The afternoon sun in Uyo really lights up my day. It feels like a big hug of warmth. I've been at home all morning doing some chores, working on a few client's orders and I just stepped out. It's a few minutes to 4 pm.
Sitting out here, I can't help but notice all the small joys around me. Like sipping on a cold sachet water that hits the spot. 😹 Taking in something cold in such weather is just blushful.
I can hear the city buzzing with life; everyone hustling and bustling, doing all they could to put food on their table at the end of the day. Cars are honking, people are chatting, birds are chirping and there’s a nice energy in the air.
Uyo is a beautiful city and my location, Obong Itam has a serene environment that's fit for relaxation. The air is clean. This perfect type of a place is just so fit to relax for the evening while beautiful thoughts run through one's head. Yes, beautiful thoughts only.
It’s these little moments that add up, you know? It's all these moments that makes life beautiful and worth living. Counting blessings, being grateful for the presence, living in the moment and hoping for the best in the future.
And as the day goes on, I’m excited about what the evening will bring. I am thrilled to know what will happen next.
Maybe a stroll in this environment or catching up with friends or lodge mates.
There’s just something special about this time; it reminds me to slow down and enjoy what’s right in front of me. It reminds me not to rush things that everything will be alright. It reminds me that there's a perfect timing for everything and right now, I am living in things I prayed for years ago.
Life can be simple, you know? One can enjoy every bit of it and worry less about the future. One can decide to live in the moment and stick to that…and that's what makes life even more beautiful.
