The Diary Game: My Work Morning Routine /19 February, 2025/

Good morning dear steemit members, it's a beautiful day and I would love to share my work morning routine with you guys.

I work in a private hospital as a laboratory technician which is a huge work and it requires me to leave my house early so I can meet up with my patients.

I wake up 6:20am everyday once my alarm rings. I would take my bath and brush my teeth immediately before moving on to the next thing. Next, I'll stroll to the kitchen to find a light breakfast for myself. Sometimes I have eggs, bread with teach and sometimes I don't eat at all before proceeding to iron my dress and move out for the day at around 7:45am.

My typical morning usually starts with testing patient's Fasting Blood Sugar level because this is a test that needs to be carried out very early in the morning at least between 7-10am before the person can have their breakfast. This is to ensure that a stabilized blood sugar level is gotten that morning when the glucose molecules in your system is not elevated. Meanwhile, a Random Blood Sugar level can be done at anytime if the day. Once I am done doing this, I go back to my office and make sure I record all the results and present it to the doctor for further medical advice (if any) for the patient.

My work station is not that big but it is enough for me to manage and carryout the necessary test I need to perform. I make sure I clean and sanitize it everyday to avoid contacting diseases because it will be so bad to come to work clean but go back home with a disease(God forbid) hence I make sure I dispose used needles, syringe, lancets etc properly to maintain professionalism. I stay in my office and then wait for the nurses to brinh in patients or doctors report which will contain the necessary test I need to carryout for a patient, and it keeps going on and on till it's lunch time where I go out to have my lunch.
