The Diary Game Season 3 [ Wednesday February 19th, 2025 ]

This tells us that success and failure are just moments in life that we need to accept. So we keep going, build resilience, and take risks, accepting challenges without fear. Let failure not hold you back; use failure as an experience to correct and fix.

It is another day to face and take into consideration the quote for the day. Just like every other weekly day. I was up by 4:30 am and browsed my phone for the next 20 to 30 minutes. It is time to start preparing to step out. By the time I'm ready, my kids have set up and had their breakfast. As part of my morning duty to drop them off at school, I have to be fast too.

I drop the kids at school and straight to my place of work. At a distance, I notice this bird on the roof of the building. This caught my attention because it was the third time. I just asked myself what could be keeping this guy here every morning, and pulled out my phone and took a shot.

I got to the office while setting up. Others show up, including the interns from the University of Bamenda. After putting it all together, I move on to working on a program for the interns. They were coming under Web development, hoping to be able to build dynamic web projects. After talking with them, I was disappointed with the school program. Sending students without giving them the knowledge they need to practice. They didn't know the computer languages needed to build web applications. So, I decided to ask them to start from the basics (HTML/CSS). I'm not a fan of HTML/CSS, but we try to work and see if they will be able to accomplish some basic websites at the end of their program with us.

Next on my to-do was a series of meetings. Working online with a client base in Nigeria on creating and setting up the YouTube channel for her organization. The last meeting was with a to-be Councilor of Aalborg City Council in Denmark. We are working on some proposals, which if materials will be a great step up for me and our Company. After the meetings, I was hungry and asked one of my colleagues to get something.

It was past midday and time to pick up the kids from school. I rush to their school, pick them up, and drop them home. I was so tired that I had to take a nap at home before coming back to the office. Electricity was interrupted, and more reason I was not in the rush. I finished some pending tasks and closed for the day.

I got home while having my dinner. I was waiting for the Champions League games of the day. I start with the Premier League match, Aston Villa against Liverpool. It is one of the determining matches in the Premier League title, and we hope to see Liverpool drop points. I was not happy with Aston Villa as they could not do the tasks needed. They are supposed to win and collect all points from Liverpool and not share points.

After the Aston Villa match, I joined my family in watching the Real Madrid against Man City Champion League match. Everyone was supporting Real Madrid and me. I needed Man City to win, and boost their morale toward their upcoming premier league match against Liverpool. I know we all understand, my interest is to have Liverpool lose a point. That way, Arsenal will get closer to the title.

It was 11 pm, and I went through the contents dropped in the community and curated. At this point, all I could think was sleep and sleep. That is how I ended the day.
