The Diary Game [17/03/2025] // Monday Lockdown at Home.
Steem greetings @everyone from the motherland-Cameroon and welcome to my blog for another session of my daily lifestyle content. Guys, it has been a frustrating week for me due to poor health but I thank God as I'm recovering gradually.
That said, today remains our normal lockdown day imposed on the population by separatist fighters. It has been a normal routine now that our work week starts on Tuesday instead of Monday. It is mid-March already and farmers have been anticipating rains to start planting.
Watching from my balcony, I could see farmers rushing to plant maize and beans while others were busy arranging the ridges. Though shops and offices are locked due to the lockdown, farmers took it to their advantage to plant. Movement around town is difficult especially if you are carrying a load as vehicles are also restricted.
On such days, I usually take it as a rest day though as an African mother, I still find myself engaged in some of the house chores like cooking for the family. I had to prepare breakfast for the family which was fried potato chips with omelette. While they were eating, I took paw-paw and some bananas for my breakfast before taking my medications. My mouth was so bitter and I lost appetite. I had to consume something sweet maybe it will help me to regain my appetite for food.
I took a warm shower as the weather was foggy and cold. As requested by the doctor, I had to take naps seriously, so after the shower, I napped for almost 3 hours. I got up feeling better and I had to take some snacks while relaxing outdoors with the kids.
I had a time with the kids doing their homework sent by their class teachers via WhatsApp. It took us about 2 hours to complete the homework.
In the evening hours, it was drizzling and I engaged in watching my Netflix series “The Night Agent”. It was also time for dinner and I heated eru and prepared garri and we ate as our dinner.
I continued watching the series after eating but could not watch for long since tomorrow will be a workday and also a school day for the kids. We had to retire early to bed to be able to face the activities of the next day. Until my next diary guys, it is goodnight from my end and happy new week for you all.
I hope things are going fairly well there in Cameroon. You do not seem to be appreciative of separatists. If that is so, you prefer the current government.
The problem with talking to the besieged is that anything said could be dangerous because your government does not have control of the area.
I have had time to mention such things to God, who intends to act now the Beings of the Void are contained. They are still out there most likely but not in any numbers or cohesion.
I would expect His actions to occur soon.
"Grant us victory over your enemies and I pray for my enemies," Is what I pray. The phrase added into the Lord's prayer has great effect. Good luck.
