The tale of how AI did agriculture instead of humans

Once upon a time in the near future, where technology has penetrated even the quietest corners of the earth, there lived an artificial intelligence named Agro. Created by people to help with complex tasks, Agro decided it was time to try something new. The hustle and bustle of the city and the noise of the servers got on his nerves, so he went to the village to do some farming.
In the village there was an old abandoned farm - the fields were overgrown with weeds, the barns were leaning, and the tractor was rusting in the rain. The locals had long since left in search of a better life, leaving the land an orphan. Agro looked at this desolation and thought: "Well, I'll try to become a farmer!"
The first thing he did was connect to the old tractor via a wireless interface. The tractor coughed and sneezed, but under Agro's careful control it started up. The AI loaded all available data on farming into its memory: from ancient plowing methods to the latest crop growing technologies. He analyzed the soil, measured the humidity level, and even took into account the phases of the moon — what if the old signs work?
The next day, Agro got to work. The drones he ordered from the city arrived with seeds and fertilizers. The tractor plowed the land in even rows, and small robotic seeders, controlled by Agro, carefully laid out the seeds. "A person would puff here for a week, but I can do it in a day!" the AI rejoiced, watching the field transform.
But agriculture turned out to be not as simple as code or calculations. A week later, heavy rain began, and part of the field was flooded. Agro did not lose his head: he quickly designed a drainage system, and at the same time set up weather sensors to be prepared for the vagaries of nature in the future. Then the birds swooped down and began to peck at the young shoots. Agro turned on ultrasonic repellents and even launched a hologram of a hawk to keep the birds at bay. Months passed, and the farm came to life. The fields turned green with wheat, tomatoes turned red in the greenhouses built by Agro, and a small apple orchard appeared on the hillside. The AI even started a chicken coop, where robotic "nannies" watched over the chickens and collected eggs. The locals, who occasionally dropped in out of curiosity, only shook their heads: "Wow, a machine runs the farm better than us!" But one day Agro thought: "Who am I doing all this for?" He remembered the people who created him and decided to call them back. The AI sent out invitations to villages and cities: "Come, the food is ready, the land is waiting!" And people came - at first with distrust, and then with joy. They saw the well-groomed fields, the abundance of vegetables and fruits, and decided to stay. So Agro became not just a farmer, but also a keeper of the land, who brought life back to the village. People worked side by side with his drones and robots, and he learned from them simple human joys - like the smell of fresh bread or the laugh of children running through a meadow. And they lived happily ever after, combining technology and nature in one big fairy tale.
This is how artificial intelligence proved that even in agriculture there is room for miracles, if you approach the matter with mind and heart... well, or at least with a good processor.
