SLC S23W3/ Mimos
It's mime time with my children, we are using in-house type of mime where our presentation will be within our environment for security reasons, our storyline is educating and informative. I'm presenting it to show the world the life some old woman are passing through in this modernized era where younger ones has no respect for the elderly.
Invite your child between 4 and 12 years old to become a mime with you. Share the step-by-step process of becoming a mime: what clothes did they choose? How did they paint themselves? Detail each step until you get to the final result. Don't forget to show photos of the process. 3 points
I'm using my children for this mime ,their ages are 8,7,5 irrespectively. I invited them to join me in this week's challenge.
Our clothes are mixed coloured cloth with red, We used a stick for the person acting like an old woman, chewing stick and a head -tie.
I helped in dressing and painting them with available things, we made use white powder.
Record a video where they perform a mime act, trying to convey a message only through gestures, movements and expressions. 3 points
What messages did you try to share during the activity?
The story is all about an old helpless woman who struggles everyday with her adorable daughter, they sell vegetables on the streets and at the end of the day they come back with something. The woman daughter is her only hope because she cares so much for her mother.
One day , they went out as usual to sell their vegetables unfortunately for them they met the Arrogant street boy who pushed them down the vegetables girl was carrying ,the mother fell down, the daughter as a caring and well trained girl don't border to chase after the Arrogant street boy rather she consoled the mother as they rested for a while before going home.
Do you think that, despite not using words, the message reached the public? 1 point
We have known that meaningful mime passes a good massage, in this case the massage was passed to the public convincingly without using words. The pictures and expressions worked together to pass the massage that is needed in the story.
How did the child feel while doing this activity? Did he or she find it difficult to say no words or did he or she miss any words or sounds during the process? 1 point

They all tried, my children are used to some mimes acting this one with me brought out their hidden talent. All I was doing was nodding my head in agreement to what they were acting . It was a simple story so they did not find it difficult to play.
Conclusion
Mime plays an important role in our life today , we don't really need it to be expressed by talking,but the physical expression and actions from the acting can give the massage well.
